You Are Treasured

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I have another Slimline Card to share with you.

For this card I have used Karen Burniston's new Treasure Chest die set, this die can be used as a stand alone die (as I have used it on this card) or with the Present Pop-up die set to create a pop-up card.

The Treasure Chest just fits on an 3 1/2 inch wide piece of cardstock, so as I wanted layers on my card I decided to go with a 3 3/4 inch x 8 3/4 inch sized Slimline card.

I used the larger die from a Pink Fresh Studio Slim Diagonal Rectangles die set to die cut the main rectangle panel. I added clouds to the upper portion of the card and sand to the lower portion.

I used the sand border die included in the Nature Edges die set to add an extra layer of sand so it is over the bottom of the treasure chest.

The lock on the treasure chest can be carefully removed so that the lid of the chest opens to reveal all it's treasures.

I used the coins, jewels, crown & necklace included in the Treasure Chest die set to add all my treasure to the chest and around it.

I added a small crab which is from the Sea Animals die set to the bottom left side of the Treasure Chest.

For the sun I used circles from the Snowman Twist Circle Pop-up and the Crosshatch Circles which I colored using yellow inks. I added the sentiment which is from the Word Set 11 - Treasure die set.

To finish off the front of the card, I stamped a couple of bird images flying in the sky.

It seems strange not putting a pop-up in a card I create using Karen Burniston dies, but I decided to keep this a flat card this time around, keeping the interactive part of the card to the Treasure Chest on the front.

I added more sand to the bottom of the card and this time added the larger crab from the Ocean Animals die set. I also added two more sets of pearls to the crab/sand.

I added the two sentiments from Word Set 10 - Thinking of You die set.
