Tulip Sympathy

 

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing two Slimline Sympathy cards I created receiving the Press & Foil plate from Spellbinders February 2026 All Clubs Crate.

When I first started playing with this particular plate back in February when I received my kit, I foiled the plate 3 times, but only ended up. using one of the foiled panels at the time. I have had this set on my desk since then wanting to use the other two panels to make sympathy cards which I have finally done.

One of the panels I had foiled with pink foil (two actually, because the original one I posted was also pink). So I used pink inks with the included stencil to make the tulips below the foiled tulips pink. 

I added a sympathy sentiment from Spellbinders You Are Everything Sentiments Betterpress plate, which is foiled but using black foil for the pink card. 

For the yellow card, I used gold foil for both the tulips & the sentiment. The embossing folder used on both cards is called Tufted.

I added a sympathy sentiment to the inside of both cards,  for the pink card I stamped using black ink and for the yellow one I used gold ink. The sentiment is from Paper Inspiration and I have had this in my stash for many years.

Today I am sharing a fun Slimline Pop-up card using new products from Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott.

For this card I used the Spread Your Wings die set from the Another Surprise Inside Collection which was released in July. This die set includes dies to create a butterfly pop-up card as I have done here. But it also includes a number of smaller butterflies which can be used to embellish the card.

I love that it fits inside a Slimline card.

I added a sentiment to the top section of the card, which is from the new Verses & Sentiments stamp set also from the Another Surprise Inside Collection.

For the front of the card, I added the two patterned papers I used on the inside of the card. 

The "Hello" sentiment is from the Big Words die set. I also added a few of the smaller butterflies included in the Spread Your Wings die set.

Today I am sharing another card I created recently using some of the products from Spellbinders All Clubs Crate for June 2026.

For this card I used the Stencil of the month to create the floral image. I then cut this down to fit onto the centre of a Slimline card. Before attaching it to my card, I used my Betterpress to add the sentiment from the Press & Foil of the month.

I embossed the panels on the base of my card using one of the embossing folders from the May 2026 Embossing Folder of the month.

For the inside of my card, I used the stencils again using all but the one with the leaf. 

I added a sentiment using one from Kristina Werner.

Today I am sharing a Slimline card I created using products from Spellbinders June 2026 All Clubs Crate.

For this card I am featuring the cute penguins from the Penguin in Paradise die set, which is a bonus die set for subscribers who subscribe to all the clubs for the month.

For the sky area I used the Whimsy Skies 3D Embossing Folder. I used a Lawn Fawn Wave border die to create the ocean panel.

I die cut 4 penguins for the front alternating the colours of their hula skirt and head piece.

I die cut the torches which is from the Aloha Hula die set another bonus die set.

To finish off the card, I added the word "Aloha" using the sentiment from the Tropical Blooms die set, which is the large die of the month.

For the inside of the card, I added another penguin to the bottom of my card and a sentiment from the This Way to Rainbows Clear Stamp set of the month.

Birthday Slimline

Today I am sharing a cute Slimline card using some of the Peanuts characters.

The images are stamps that was the freebie stamp set included in the Creative Stamping Magazine issue 156. Someone post on Facebook the week before Mother’s Day that she found the magazine in a newsagent down here in Australia. So I messaged my daughter’s asking if they were near a newsagents could the see if they had it. Fortunately my eldest daughter found it and gave it to me for Mother’s Day, which I was happy about 😊.

The grass is from an older MFT Stamps die set & the clouds & sun are from Spellbinders Tunnel Clouds die set.

For the inside of the card I added another Peanuts image & sentiment from the stamp set.

Today I am sharing another card using Spellbinders Summer Camp Collection designed by Allison Frazier. 

This time round I created a Slimline Easel card so I had plenty of room to create a scene. This card measures 4 inches x 8 1/2 inches when folded.

I used Lawn Fawn’s Slimline Grassy Hillside die set to add all the grass to the card.

To decorate my card I used the Woodland Trio, Trails End and Camp Days die sets.

I used the sign from the Trails End die set to add my greeting and added the stamped sentiment from the Summertime Sentiments Clear Set.

Welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing a Slimline card using some of the new products from Spellbinders Make It & Bake It Collection by Tina Smith.

For this card I used the Measure Mates and the Fluff, Frost & Roll die sets for all the images on the card.

I wanted to use the coordinating embossing folder on my background. This is a directional embossing folder and 5 inches wide. My card is 8 inches wide. So I had to do so partial embossing to get a full image. It’s not perfect, but the images hide the join,

To finish off the front of the card, I added the “hello” sentiment.

For the inside of the card, I added two more images left over from decorating the front. I also added a sentiment from the Sugared Expressions stamp set. 

Butterfly Smile

Today I am sharing a Slimline card I created using a few of the club kits from Spellbinders All Clubs Crate from January 2026.

The Butterfly and flowers are from the Stitching Die of the Month called Butterfly Dance. Rather than adding stitching I decided to add glitter card to the centre part of the butterfly.

For the Slimline background I used the Cloud Nine 2D Embossing Folder, after embossing the panel, I added white pigment ink over the raised area to highlight the embossing.

Finally I added two sentiments using the Clear Stamp & Die of the month called Best Year Sentiments. 

For the inside of the card, I added another butterfly and two more of the sentiments from the Clear Stamp & Die of the month.

Gnome Slimline Card

Today I am sharing a Slimline card using products from the Made To Make Craft kit, which is the first Craft kit designed by Sam Calcott/Made to Surprise available from Craftworld. 

For this card, I used the stamp set and pattern papers included in the kit.

For the inside of my card, I added a sentiment and a couple of images included in the kit.

Slimline Ornaments

Today I am sharing two Slimline Christmas cards I created recently. I made these a few weeks ago, but haven't had the time or energy to take photos to add them to my blog.

For these two cards I used Concord & 9th's Ornaments Stencil Pack designed by Kristina Werner. I am loving her stencil packs as they are all 6 x 9 stencil packs which means they are ideal for larger cards like Slimline and 5 x 7 cards which is what I prefer to make. I used four different shades of inks for the ornaments and a darker shade for the snowflake on each ornament, I then cut the panel into two panels to create slimline cards.

I added a reverse foiled sentiment to the inside of the cards. Being that these are Christmas cards, I kept the inside fairly simple.

 

Build A Snowman Slimline Easel

Welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing a Christmas themed Slimline Easel card I created using products from Spellbinders. 

The theme for the Spellbinders October 2025 Club Kits is a Christmas/Winter theme and while it is Summer down here in Australia at Christmas time, I am loving all the new kits.

For the sky portion of my card, I used the Magic Wonderland Glimmer Plate to foil a panel of Malibu Cardstock with white foil. This was pretty easy to repeat on my slimline panel without any obvious lines.

I then used the Snow Day Friends which is the Small Die of the month to create my scene. I added two sentiments to the base of the card both of which are also included in the kits.

Here is a look at my card when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope.

And the inside panel. I added glitter card to the base, so it looked like the snow used on the main image. There is still plenty of areas to write a personal message on this card.
