It is that time of the week again when the Prettie girls get together for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge & Blog Hop. The blog hop starts at our new Paper Pretties Blog so if you didn’t start from there hop back now!

Before I get into the challenge, we would also like to introduce our three newest Paper Pretties Design Team members. Please welcome:

This week is the start of a brand new month, which means it is my turn to bring you another Pretties Wednesday Sketch Challenge.

For my card today I used Paper Pretties “Simply Special”. I wanted a fancy edge on my 4 panels on the base of my card, so I used one of the Nellie’s Multi Frame Dies.

I always love being able to prepare my samples and show what is coming in the not too distant future.

Today the MFT Stamps Design Team start the beginning of our MFTeasers featuring two of the new sets that will be released this coming Wednesday 3rd February. These two sets are “Love Birds” and “Basket Full ‘o Flopsey”.

For my card today I am using the new Flopsey set “Basket Full ‘o Flopsey”. The basket that Flopsey has beside him, come empty and there are 3 stamps included in the set that you can use to fill the basket … I used the Easter Eggs, but there are hearts for Valentines Day and Flowers which can be used for all sorts of occasions. My card today is for this week’s challenge over on the The Pink Elephant blog. This week the challenge is Recipe Challenge ….. here is the recipe we had to use:

    • Polka Dots
    • A Bow

    Happy Birthday!

    C4C-Birthday-wm

    Happy Saturday everyone,

    Well it is time for another challenge over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week our challenge hostess for the month, Lori Boyd challenged us with another fun challenge. So what is the challenge you ask, well as it is Lori’s Birthday this month the challenge was to create a birthday card … now you know you can never have too many birthday cards on hand, right!

    As my Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps arrived this week, I decided I had to play with one of those and of course this one called “Francesca” looked perfect for a birthday card with all those cupcakes & candles! I used Nellie’s Multi Frame Rectangle for the red layer underneath my main image.

    C4C-Birthday2-wm Here is the inside of my card, as you can see I used the Martha Stewart “Happy Birthday” Deep Edge Punch to create a border. I figured this was enough sentiment so left it at that. I did add some bling to the stars.

    Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

    Recipe

    Stamps: Francesca – Kraftin’ Kimme Stamps;

    Paper: White; Red; Pink; DP – Basic Grey

    Other: Black Ink; MS Border Punch; MS Happy Birthday Deep Edge Punch; Nellie’s Multi Frame – Square; Grosgrain Ribbon; Button; Bling; Foam Tape; Copics
