It’s time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge over on the Paper Pretties Blog. This week being a brand new month it is time for me to issue a sketch challenge.

As you can see I am still making “male” birthday cards. This week I used Paper Pretties Engineer Cooper to create my card. I just love this stamp set, especially as my DH and Grandson both love trains.

Here is the inside of my card. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Engineer Cooper stamp set.

It’s Challenge Time Me Heartie!

It’s time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge over on the Paper Pretties Blog. This week being a brand new month it is time for me to issue a sketch challenge.

I am still busy making male birthday cards, so this week I decided to use Pirate Cooper to create my card, this is such a fun stamp set.

I have also recently purchased some of the Distress Stains so decided to play with the Picket Fence Stain which is white. I swiped the stain all over the designer paper and the card to give the card a more weathered look … just like you would expect with pirates!

Here is the inside of my card. I stamped two of the sentiments from the set and also stamped Pirate Cooper again in the lower right hand corner.

A Penny For Your Thoughts!

It’s time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge over on the Paper Pretties Blog, our first challenge of the year! Being that it is the start of the new year, that means it is also a brand new month, which means it is my turn to bring you another Pretties Wednesday Sketch Challenge.

This week I decided to use this cute Piggy Bank called “Penny For Your Thoughts”.  This set has three different designs of Piggy Bank plus the option of coins or notes which you can add to your Piggy Bank if desired. Can you see the signs of inflation on my card LOL … A Penny for Your Thoughts now costs you more then a penny hehe!

Here is the inside of my card. I decided to use the same Piggy Bank but I used a coin this time rather than the $ note.

For my card today I used the Fall Cooper stamp set, this is such an adorable image! I stamped my image on my white card and then masked Cooper so i could add my clouds which were done using my Copic airbrush.

I’m Crazy About Crazy Challenges!

Hi all!

Yes it is Saturday again, which of course means it is time for another challenge with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.

Our challenge hostess Silke Ledlow has a birthday coming up so this week she challenged us to create a Birthday card or Birthday Gift.

Our challenge is sponsored this week by Verve Stamps.

As you can see I decided to create a Birthday card…. yes I know it doesn’t say birthday on the front of the card but I could still use this for a birthday card. The cute monkey is one of Verve’s stamps called Love Monkey.

Hmmmm that reminds me that I have a friend who has a birthday coming up that just loves monkey’s (not!) maybe I will send it to her hehehehehe! Just kidding she would have a fit if I did that LOL! But it is tempting *wink*

You may recognise the sketch used here and it is my sketch from this week’s Paper Pretties Challenge (scroll down and you will find it). I just loved the sketch and figured it would work with this cute image.
