Birthday Boy!

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess Charlene Merrick continues to bring us a fun challenge.

This week’s challenge is a Color challenge: Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi and neutral of your choice.

When I first saw the colors we had to use for the challenge I was a little scared … yikes! But then I found this new Humphrey’s Corner Collection Party Time stamp set in my stash which I had just received and it was easy. I just love these cute little elephants and you might have noticed I am getting quite a collection of them!

King of the Castle!

Hi everyone!
It is day 5 of our Riley sneak peeks in readiness of the of the new Riley stamps that will be available from Riley and Company this coming Thursday 24th May. This time round we have 14 new Riley’s being released.

For my card today I CASED a card I made a few years ago turning a side step card into a castle. A King and his Princess need a castle right! The Bricks on the castle was created using Riley and Company’s Brick Wall stamp and my stamp positioner. I love how this stamp is easy to match together.

Here is another view of my side step card, I added grass to the front part of the castle.

Funny Thing About Life!

Hi everyone,

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. This is another fun sketch!

For my card this week I used MFT Stamps Die-namics Vertical Greetings II Die & Stamp Set , I love the sentiments in this set! I also used Die-namics Pretty Posies for my flower accents.

For the inside of my card I used the Die-namics Vertical Greetings II Die & Stamp Set again for my sentiment. The border along the bottom edge of the designer paper is the Die-namics Mini Monarch Border.

It’s time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge over on the Paper Pretties Blog. This week our challenge is to use bright colors on our card.

This week I used Paper Pretties Happy Spring Polly stamp set to create my card. This time round I created a ‘Z’ fold card.

Of course as always these two Pure Innocence stamp sets are totally adorable …. who can resist a PI stamp? Not me!!!!!!

For my card today I used the Pure Innocence Hula Girl stamp set, this set definitely helps me think of summer rather than winter which is about to happen down here where I live! I am loving the new Hibiscus Die-namics too, I made mine a double hibiscus by adding two of the flower parts to my flower. It may be hard to see but I have also used the Notched Border Die-namics on the two horizontal panels on this card. The layout of this card uses the May sketch from SFYTT.

For the sentiment I used the mini bracket tab from the Die-namics Mini Tabs Foursome . I have used the Lemondrop Yellow Twine for my button in the centre of the hibiscus and also added some Denim Twine across the bottom of my card.

For the inside of my card I stamped a sentiment from the Fun in the Sun Sentiments mini directly onto my designer paper.

For my card today I have used The Moustache Riley … isn’t he just too cute hehe! As soon as I saw this image I knew I had to use the moustache designer paper I have had for a while.

A Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge

Hi everyone,

Welcome to our very first Cornish Heritage Farms challenge which you will find over on the Cornish Heritage Farms Blog every second Tuesday.

To start off the challenges I am hosting the first challenge which is Anything Goes! A nice easy challenge for our very first one don’t you think.

For my card I used the Shared Wonder stamp which is in the Rummage Bin line available from Cornish Heritage Farms. This is actually a large stamp but rather than using the whole stamp I decided to just used part of the stamp by stamping it out and then using an oval die to cut out the part I wanted from the stamp.

Spring Cleaning!

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Barb Anders our challenge hostess for May has another fun challenge install for us this week.

Tomorrow is Barb’s birthday, so this week Barb has challenged us to make a birthday card or project.

I decided to go with a birthday card for this challenge using a Lili of the Valley Stamp set.

Here is the inside of my card, I added some designer paper and a birthday sentiment.
