What's Black & White & Red All Over!

Hi Everyone,

Good news ... I got my computer back today and fortunately they were able to rescue everything! I am sooooooooo happy. Anyway just as well I have it back cause the photo I had for this post was pretty terrible but I have now re taken then photo and used my photo editing software .... oh how I missed that!

Today starts the beginning of the sneak peeks of the new stamps that will be released by Hanna Stamps on Monday 6th April after the release party. Hanna Stamps will be releasing 3 new stamp sets and 2 new Riley stamps. As you can see I have used one of the new Riley stamps to create my card today .. this is Train Riley ... isn't he cute!!!!! I know I will get a lot of use out of this stamp as my DH loves trains so I am sure I will use it for him sometime in the future ... unfortunately he isn't 40 anymore LOL so this one won't go to him hehe!

I made this card for this week's Hanna Stamps challenge which is a color challenge based on that popular riddle "What's black & white & red all over" .... we had to use the colors black, white & red on our cards. I did add a little yellow and blue when I colored my image cause I figured it needed a couple of other colors, but over all it meets the challenge guidelines.

The background on my red panel was created using the Sizzix circle circus texture plate which I sponged over the raised areas using black ink after it was embossed.

I added the star with the "40" as I will give this one to my DD to use for some of her friends who will be turning 40 this year.

Recipe:
Stamps: Train Riley - Hanna Stamps; Sentiment - Clear Dollar Stamps
Paper: White; Black; Red - SU
Other: Black Ink; Star Punch; Sizzix Circle Circus Texture Plate; Black Brads; Long Rectangle Nestabilities; Foam Tape; Copics

Wow...I just gotta have this stamp! My Grandson is into trains Big Time. Love your card, the coloring is great. Glad you have your computer back. I know that when mine is gone it feels like one of my arms is cut off. I don't know what to do with myself. Funny how we didn't used to have them and lots of other new gadgets and got along just fine.

Have a happy stamping day!
