Hi everyone,
It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week Anne Harmon continues to bring the challenges for the month.
The theme for this week’s challenge is Roses. June is the month when roses begin to bloom. Please make a card with LOTS of roses.
For my card this week I created a Triple Pivot card using the Katie Label Pivot Card die set designed by Karen Burniston’s for Elizabeth Crafts Designs. Karen shared with us all how to create this style of card a few week’s ago using any of her Pivot Card dies, if you are interested on seeing how to create this card you can find Karen’s video here.
I am not sure if the flowers on the designer paper are actually roses, but for todays challenge purposes they are .
Of course I did add a couple of other roses too, on the left and right panel … you can see the left panel here when the card is closed. The rose was created using Elizabeth Craft Designs Rose (799) Die, the pink solid area of the rose was die cut using Light Pink Shimmer Sheetz … I love this stuff!
I embossed some green card using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Petal Power Embossing Folder.
Here is the back of the card … I love that Pivot Cards have a point of interest no matter which way you look at them.
And here is another view of my card, this time from the back when the card is opened.
Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Very creative. And I like that the back is decorated also.
Wow, that's one great rose card. Beautiful as always, Frances!
You are so right.....interesting from every direction!!
truly an entire bed of roses.....really pretty, Hoots
Gorgeous paper - I took it to be roses straight away! And the rose die is pretty cool looking, too :D. I know it's more like winter for you, but this card is just so summery and wonderful!
