Let it Snow

Hi everyone,

I have been playing with a few new dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs to create my card today.

For the background of my card I used the small circle die from the new Entwined Circles using an Inlaid Diecutting Technique that Jennifer McGuire shared recently on a video. You can see her tutorial here.  Els from Elizabeth Craft Designs shared a similar video back in April but with hers she added Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape on the top of the top card and then added Silk Microfine Glitter to the adhesive after die cutting. You can see her video using this technique here.

I then used the small oval from the Entwined Ovals die set to highlight my sentiment A Way with Words - Let it Snow.

I die cut 5 snowflakes which are also included in the Entwined Circles die set. I added Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape to the front of my white card and then covered the adhesive with Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter. I added Silver/Gold Glitter Dots Peel Off Stickers to the centre of each snowflake and then also added the Glitter Dots wherever there was a "bead" on the entwined circles and oval.

For the inside of my card I added one of the borders from the Holiday Garlands 2 die set. I die cut the border from Silver cardstock and then added more of the Silver/Gold Glitter Dots Peel Off Stickers to the snowflake part of the border.

I then added the sentiment from the Winter Sentiments Clear Stamp set using black ink.

Such a pretty card using Els' new release dies. Thanks for the links to the other tutorials, too.
