Sending Love & Birthday Wishes

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month it is time to introduce our challenge hostess for the month, which this time around is Lynn McAuley.

Our challenge this week is ... Impossible Card!
This new fun fold based on a famous card trick is sweeping the internet. Lynn thought it would be great if the CCEE Stampers put their own “twist” on this design this week. Here is a link to a tutorial by Maymay Made It Crafts that will show you what it is all about! It demonstrates the Impossible Card in several varied sizes.

I purchased this super cute Art Impressions stamp set earlier in the year. It is supposed to be a Valentine's stamp set, but I thought it would also work for birthdays and other occasions.

To create my card I started with a piece of 5 inch x 7 inch cardstock. As you can see by the photo above, I made my centre panel  a little larger than what results from cutting your card panel by attaching a larger piece over the centre panel. This means the finished card won't fit into a standard envelope, but will need a larger one.

Here is an overhead view of my card so you can see how the card looks when it has been cut and folded.

And one more photo of my card. I added a birthday sentiment on the thin strip at the base of the card and added some red crystals and another bear image.

Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:
