Grillin & Chillin

Hi Crafty Friends,

Accordion to the Days of the Year Calendar, today is Barbecue Day, so I decided to pull out my Elizabeth Craft Designs Barbecue die set to create the card above.

At a recent Craft Show I found this fun Umbrella & Table die set which I thought would work perfectly with the barbecue, so of course I had to include that in my card.

As you can see I created an Easel Card. I used Lawn Fawn's Grassy Hillside Borders die set to create the grass at the back of the scene.

I used Distress Oxide inks to create the sky area of the card. 

The ants are from a Lawn Fawn stamp set and added the food from the ECD Barbecue die set to the ants.

I added the sentiment "Grillin & Chillin" which was die cut using the smallest die from the Dashing Rectangles die set. 

Here is a look at my card when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope.
