Hello, Friend

Hi Crafty Friends,

After doing the "Zoo Animal" challenge yesterday, I decided I should use another of the animal themed stamps/dies I have in my stash waiting to be used. I decided upon using this cute Mama Elephant Monkey Favor Bag Accessory die set.

I die cut the monkey using brown, light brown and black cardstock and paper pieced all the pieces onto a scrap of white cardstock and then trimmed around the image. I also added a tail which is from Elizabeth Craft Designs Sliders & Spinners die set. For the body I used two ovals from the Fitted Ovals die set.

For the background of my card I die cut a rectangle using the largest rectangle in the Dashing Rectangles die set and then sponged Catherine Pooler It's A Boy ink all over the rectangle panel. I then used Heffy Doodles UNBE-LEAF-ABLE stencil to apply the ferns all over the background.

I added a sentiment to the hands of the monkey and then added Nuvo Drops all over the background.

For the inside of the card, I added a strip of cardstock to the bottom of the card adding the ferns like I did on the front of the card.

I also added a sentiment, using stamps from Honey Bee Stamps Hooray Clear Stamp set.
