Thank You Teacher Arch Window Gatefold Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Being a brand new month it is time to introduce our challenge hostess for the month which is Rebecca Ednie.

Be inspired by Windows - an actual cut out window in front of a card, acetate see thru window or even a clear card, shaker, images of buildings or cars with windows.

This was a fairly easy challenge but at the same time a difficult one as there were so many options I could have done to create my card, which makes it hard to decide what to do.

In the end I decided to pull out my Waffle Flower Arch Window and A2 Window Shutters which I got late last year and hadn't used as yet. This card is perfect to use to create a Gatefold card.

I decided to create another Thank You card for my grandchildren's teachers for the end of the year which school finishes here in Australia. I used images from Stamping Bella, Waffle Flower and Hanna Stamps.

The background behind the window was created by using Catherine Pooler Limoncello and Tiara inks.

For the front of the card I die cut to sentiments "Thank You" and "Teacher" from Papertrey Ink and attached them to two fishtail banners.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.
