Gerbera Birthday

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a birthday card I created recently.

For the background I used Simon Says Stamp Gerbera Daisy Background. I stamped this onto white cardstock using black ink and then colored using copic markers. I used a rectangle from the Rectangle Infinity die set from Hero Arts to create a rectangle panel from this background. I then covered the background using Distress Glaze which added a nice shine to the background.

I added the background panel to a folded white card base.

I die cut the "happy" from Crafter's Companion Happy Edge'able Word dies from black cardstock and then again from pink cardstock and layered these together, leaving a black border around the left side of the sentiment.

I then used two of the sentiments from MFT Stamp's Bitty Birthday Sentiments which I white embossed onto black card to finish off the sentiment.

For the inside of the card I used the leftover piece of the Gerbera Daisy Background which I adhered to the left hand side of the card and then added one more sentiment from the MFT Stamps Bitty Birthday Sentiments.
