Christmas Wishes From Our Home To Yours

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing another card I created using some of the new products from Divinity Designs December release.

As Christmas is still nearly 2 weeks away, I have two more Christmas cards to share today.

For my first card today I created a Tri-fold Card using the Tri-Fold Card with Layers die set.

For the centre panel of my card, I stamped the house from the new Home For Christmas Stamp/Die Duo set. After stamping and coloring the image, I die cut the house using the coordinating die. I added snow using the Curvy Slopes die set, to the base of the rectangle. I also added a few trees from the Trees and Deer die set. I stamped the sentiment to the top right hand corner which is also included in the stamp set.

Along the top of the card, I added Christmas lights using the new Christmas lights die set. I die cut the wire from black cardstock and the lights from red and green cardstock. After assembling the lists, I covered each light with some glitter lacquer. I also added the glitter lacquer to the house and trees where snow might be.

Along the bottom left hand side of the card, I created some snowy hills, using the Curvy Slopes die set and white glitter card.

I added a few more of the trees and three deer using the Trees and Deer die set.

For my second card today, I have created a Center Step Card using Divinity Designs Center Step Card with Layers die set.

When I first saw the Christmas lights die set, I envisioned the lights being on a Christmas tree, which is what I tried to replicate on this card. I used the pine boughs from the Pinecone and Pine Bough die set, to create the bottom of a Christmas tree, which I added to the top of my card. I then used the Christmas lights to add to the tree branches.

I used rainbow colors to create my Christmas lights, using red, orange, yellow, green and blue. I then covered each light with Glitter Lacquer to give a glittery look to the lights.

The sentiment is from the True Light stamp set, which has some wonderful sentiments included. I stamped my sentiment using black ink onto white cardstock and then die cut the sentiment using the Double Stitched Ovals and layered to an oval from the Ovals die set. I added two more light bulbs to either side of the sentiment.

The paper used on this card, comes from the Holly Jolly Collection.

For the inside of my card I added another sentiment from the True Light stamp set, layering to ovals from the Double Stitched Ovals and Ovals die set. I kept the sentiment lower in the oval, so that I could add another set of Christmas lights.
