Welcome, Merry Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am  sharing another Christmas card using stamps and dies from Hero Arts November My Monthly Hero Kit.

For the front of  the card, I used the main die from the kit to die cut the front door, the topiaries, wreath and letters. I also stamped the door mat and the "Welcome" to the mat using stamps from the kit.

I used the glitter lacquer pen from the kit to add glitter to the lights and window above the door.

I adhered this panel to a top folding white card, and then used a craft knife to cut out the opening of the door from the front of the top folding card, so that when I opened the door, the scene inside the card could be seen from the outside.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the stair case. I then masked the staircase so I could stamp the tree which is slightly behind the stairs. I then stamped the dog sleeping on the mat. 

I drew in the floor area so it was slightly above the bottom of the tree and then blended light yellow ink to the wall areas of the card.

I added the glitter lacquer to the ornaments and star on the tree.
