Santa Slider Tags

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a few gift tags I created recently. If you follow me you know I love anything interactive, so when I discovered this fun interactive Sliding Tag die set from Studio Katia, I just had to have one. Luckily my local store had one in stock, I was able to grab!

Here is a quick video to see my tags in action.

As I had just received La-La Land Crafts Dear Santa stamp set, it was easy to know what I was going to use on my tags. I actually had them all stamped and cut out before I received my tag die set, so I was ready to get my tags made once that arrived.

I used Honey Bee Stamps Perfect Bricks stencil with Festive Berries Distress Oxide ink to decorate a piece of white cardstock. I used this to die cut all the front panels for my tags. This stencil is fast becoming my favorite brick stencil, I love the size of the bricks which is more in proportion to the images I use.

I used the "Do Not Open until December 25th" to stamp at the base of the tag front. This is from La-La Land Crafts Christmas Postcard stamp set. At the top of the panel, I added "Ho-Ho-Ho" which is from Lawn Fawn's Ho-Ho-Holidays stamp set.

I used white cardstock to die cut the middle and bottom layers of the Slider Tag. I stamped "Merry Christmas" which is from Hero Arts November My Monthly Hero Kit. Next time I would probably stamp this a little bit higher up, but it is fine really.

The "To & From" are from another Hero Arts stamp set called Mountains of Joy. These two sentiments were stamped onto the base layer of the tag.

Next I assembled the tags and then added the various Santa's to the panel which pops up when the inner tag is pulled at the top.

I added the reinforcement circles to the top of the tag and then added the ribbon.

These are such fun to make, and I am sure would be fun to play with when someone receives a present. If time allows I will make a few more of these for a few other "special" gifts I need to give.
