Splash of Happy

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a fun Fish Bowl shaped card using dies from Trinity Stamps.

For this card, I have used the Fish Bowl Die set which coordinates with their Circle Card Die set.

I decided not to use the Circle Card die set for this card, using just the elements included in the Fish Bowl die set to create the shaped card.

There is a fish included in the die set, but I decided to pull out a Spellbinders Club kit from last year. I found these fish already assembled which were the perfect size for this card.

The sentiment is also from Spellbinders.

When I was going through the Spellbinders kit of spare die cut pieces, I discovered this small die cut splash, so I decided to use that on the inside and add another of the sentiments included in the stamp set I used on the front.

Donut Circle Cards

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing two donut themed circle cards using stamps & dies from Trinity Stamps.

As I couldn’t decide if I wanted to make a donut with chocolate or pink icing, I decided to make both!

For the base of my card I used Trinity Stamps Circle Card die set which includes dies to create the donut.

I then used the A-Glaz-ing stamp set to add the white icing. The sentiment is also from this stamp set.

Here is a look at the inside of my card, I used more sentiment stamps from the stamp set.

Santa in Chimney

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Christmas card I created recently. This one is an Arch shaped card and uses dies from Spellbinders. The cute Santa stuck in the Chimney is called Chimney Capers from the Merry Mischief Collection. This is a pretty simple card to create.

For the sentiment along the bottom of the card I used Spellbinders Christmas Cheer Sentiments Betterpress Plate from the City Holiday Collection.

To create the Arch shaped card, I used Trinity Stamps Arch Shaped Card die set.

For the inside of the card, I added a sentiment which is included in the Chimney Capers die/stamp set.

A Year In Bloom - January

Hi Crafty Friends,

Welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing an Arch Shaped card using the January Embossing Folder from Lisa Horton Crafts A Year in Blooms Embossing Folder set. This set includes 12 floral 5 x 7 embossing folders featuring a different flower for each month. The flower used for January is the Crocus. There a lots of gorgeous embossing folders in this set, and I am looking forward to featuring at least one a month if not more.

For my card today, I embossed a piece of black cardstock using the January Crocus Embossing Folder. I then added Silver Shine Metallic Pigment ink over the top of the raised portion of the card.

I used Arch dies from Trinity Stamps Arch-Shaped Card die set to create my 5 x 7 inch card.

For the sentiment I used Papertrey Inks Line It Up: Birthday die set. I die cut the sentiment three times from white cardstock, layering them together for height.

For the inside of the card, I used more of the arch shaped dies to add the layers.

The senitment is from Papertrey Inks This is a Big Sentiments: Birthday stamp set.

Festive Poinsettias

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing another of the 14 cards I created using Spellbinders Festive Poinsettias Betterpress plate.
For this card, I foiled the background using a light blue foil. I coloured the poinsettias using various shades of pinks & reds. The card base & layers were created using Trinity Stamps Arch-Shaped Card die set.

I used Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott’s Festive Tartan Embossing Folder to create texture to the card base. I used Waffle Flower Crafts Merry Christmas foil plate for the sentiment, which is foiled in the same colour as the background.

For the inside of my card, I used a sentiment from Made To Surprise by Sam Calcott’s Festive Sentiments stamp set.

Cheers Dad

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a fun male themed card I created recently. I have been wanting to make this style of card for sometime, but I didn't want to go to the bother of measuring and cutting. So when Sam Calcott released this die in her recent Made To Surprise Showstoppers 3 collection, I couldn't want for mine to get over the ocean to me.

This card uses the new Double Concertina Showstopper die set and like many of Sam's dies, there are a number of different ways we can use them. For this card I decided to score the two 6 inch sides in half to make it an accordion style card.

To decorate the card, I used the papers from the Mainly Male Paper Pad. I also used the beer images from the Hobbies stamp/die set. For the top concertina panel I used the Chevron Embossing Folder. The letters that spell DAD are from the Chunky Uppercase Alphabet die set.

I added two white panels to the back of the card, one for the sentiment and the other for a place to write a personal greeting to the recipient.

For the sentiments I used the two sentiment sets included in the Showstoppers 3 Collection.

To keep the card closed, I made a tall belly band. To decorate this I used the Chevron Embossing Folder on the dark blue panel.

I used Trinity Stamps Here's to Brew stamp set to stamp the hand and beer mug.

The "Cheers" is from the sentiment set that I used on the back of the card.

Here is one last photo of my card when it is folded, before placing it in the belly band.

Wishing You A Merry Christmas

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I have a Gnome themed Christmas Slimline Shadow Box card to share with you.

My card uses Studio Light / Creative Craft Lab's Slimline Shadowbox Card die set. I decorated the card using Trinity Stamps North Pole Gnomes stamp set.

Inside the shadow box, I used Divinity Designs' Slimline Tree & Hill Silhouettes die set, to add the snowy hills and trees.  I used white glitter cardstock for the snowy hills.

The banner at the top of the card, is also included in the Slimline Shadowbox die set.

I added a panel to the back of the card. I added a gnome themed sentiment from Picket Fence Studios on this panel. I also added a gnome elf and gnome Santa to each side of the back panel.

Reindeer Mug

 Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing another Coffee themed Christmas card, that I created recently.

For the base of the card, I used the A6 Window Card die set from Creative Craft Products Fancy Folds Collection.

To decorate my card, I used Trinity Stamps Freezin' Season & Beary Cute Layered Mug die sets.

Here you can see the card when it is folded ready to be placed in an envelope.

Here is a look at the back of my card, I added the "Season's Greetings sentiment at the top of the panel. I then added the "cup of Cheer" sentiment which is a digital sentiment I got from Verve Stamps some years ago.
