Thinking of You

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a card I created using some of the older Karen Burniston dies.

If you have been watching Hochanda over the weekend, you might have seen this card shown a few times. Earlier in the year, Karen asked the Design Team to help create some samples for the show. We could only use specific sets that were going to be shown during the shows ... which for someone who normally just grabs whatever she likes from any set is a little bit of a challenge. For this card I had to use the Circle Charm Pop-up along with the Flowers & Bee die set.

For my card today I have used the Circle Charm Pop-up die set to create the card base. I have been wanting to pull this die set out for a while now and have a play, and I finally have gotten around to doing just that.

To decorate my card I used the flowers and bee from the Flowers and Bee die set. I die cut the bees from both yellow cardstock and white glitter cardstock. I removed the wings from the yellow bees and then adhered the two together.

I added the butterfly which is from the Circle Charm Pop-up to the centre circle of my card.

Both sentiments are from Word Set 1

Here is an overhead photo of my card, so you can see the folds a little better.
