Hope Your Birthday Is Awesome

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Slimline birthday card I created recently.

I used two Slimline die sets from Heffy Doodle Stamps to create the layers of the slimline card.

For the background of my card I used Pinkfresh Studio's Sweet Bloom Background cling stamp with it's coordinating stencil. I stamped the image twice of a large panel of cardstock and then used the coordinating stencils to add the color to the panel, there are 3 stencils included in the set. I then used the stitched slimline die to die cut the panel.

For the sentiment I used Pinkfresh Studio's Phrase Builder: Happy die set for the "birthday" portion of the sentiment. I then added the remainder of the sentiment using a sentiment from MFT Stamps Bitty Birthday Wishes.

I used the same slimline dies I used on the front of the card for my layers for the inside of my card. I had a thing strip of the floral background I used on the front so I die cut that for the bottom of my card. I also used one of the borders from Sunny Studio Stamps Slimline Basic Borders die set to add a scallop border along the top of the panel.

I added a sentiment from The Ton's Easy Expressions Birthday stamp set and coordinating die set.

What a cool idea to have stamps with coordinating dies. Love the colours on your card.
