Unicorn Cake

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Birthday Slimline Card I created recently. 

For this card I am using Your Next Stamp's Slim Circle Panel Die, I purchased this a few weeks ago and was surprised when it turned up two weeks later. This year I have been lucky if parcels from the USA & Canada get here within a month or two month due to COVID 19 and the international borders being closed. Of course I couldn't want to play with it.

To decorate my card I used Hero Arts Decorate A Cake which I ordered earlier in the year, being Unicorn themed I had to add it to my stash!

I used Mama Elephant's Big Happy Birthday die to add the sentiment, die cutting it from white glitter card and dark pink card and offsetting the two sentiments.

For the inside of the card I used Catherine Pooler's "Celebrate" die for the sentiment. I added two unicorns from Motion Crafts by Uchi's Design's Unicorn Flipbook stamp set.

I also added a few of the circles that came out of the Slim Circle Panel die randomly over the card.

Favorite Person To Hang Out With

Two I have two cards to share with you. As I was using the Mama Elephant Circular Grid die to create one card, which meant that I would have all those circles left over from die cutting this die I decided to use the circles to make another card.

For the background of my card, I use Taylored Expressions Mosaic Leaves Stencil and applied Catherine Pooler Inks in Sage, Lime Rickey, Grass Skirt and Eucalyptus through the stencil onto white cardstock for an ombre effect. I also covered another piece of cardstock using the same colors of inks.

I used the Mama Elephant Circular Grid die to die cut the stencil panel and adhered this over the second panel using foam tape.

To decorate my card I stamped monkeys from Motion Crafts Monkey Flip Book Kit and adhered them randomly onto the card using foam tape.

I stamped the "Favorite Person To Hang out With" sentiment onto black cardstock and white embossed and then die cut this using Honey Bee Stamps Banner Builder die set. I adhered this to the second row of circles.

I added two other sentiments and some bananas to the other remaining circles.

I created another stencil panel using the Mosaic Leaves Stencil and cut it down and adhered it to the left side of the card. 

I added a sentiment from Gerda Steiner Designs Party Animals stamp set and die cut that using one of the banner dies from Honey Bee Stamps Banner Builder die set.

To finish off the card, I added some more of the monkeys from the stamp set.

For my second card I used the circle pieces leftover from making the first card and adhered them to a white panel and then onto a folded green card.

I added monkeys to some of the circles and then stamps the sentiment to the two outer circles on the bottom.

I added another mosaic leaves stencil panel to the left side of the card and then added two sentiments and a monkey to the white side of the panel.

Unicorn Flipbook

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a flip book I created using Motion Crafts new Unicorn Flipbook Stamp set which was released recently.

For the cover of my flip book I decorated it using Pink Fresh Studio's Magical Unicorn stamp & coordinating stamp set. The sentiment is from Your Next Stamp's Unicorn Rock stamp set.

The Unicorn Flipbook stamp set, contains 8 different unicorns in various poses to stamp onto your pages. By stamping the images in certain sequins you get the look of the unicorn jumping and running. Here are the first four of the unicorns that are included in my flipbook.

Here are the final four images that were stamped into my flipbook. Each of the unicorns were stamped at least twice into the book, with some 3 or 4 times to give the illusion of the unicorn moving.

Hello Friend Animation Card

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am playing with some of the new animation stamps and dies from Motion Crafts by Uchi's Design that were released earlier this year ... I just love playing with anything interactive and these are so much fun!!!

For my card today I have made a Peek-A-Boo card using the Peek-A-Boo Card die set and Fox & Friends Animation Stamps.

To create this card I used the Animation Grid die to create the animation grid so that it could be the same color as the animation stamp on the card.

To create the frame around the opening, I combined the die that does the opening from the Peek-A-Boo die set and Elizabeth Craft Designs Dashing Rectangles die set.

Don't Worry Bee Happy

Today I am playing with some of the new animation stamps and dies from Motion Crafts by Uchi's Design that were released recently ... I just love playing with anything interactive and these are so much fun!!!

For my card today I have used the A2 Double Slider Animation Card die set along with the Bee Happy Animation Stamp/Die set which contains animated and normal images in a bee; frog and duck as well as sentiment to go with each image. 

Here is a quick video to show my card in action.

I created the background for this card by sponging Fossilised Amber Distress Oxide ink over over the front of the white piece of cardstock I used for the base of this card. I then die cut the Elizabeth Craft Designs Honeycomb die using release paper to create a stencil and layed the stencil over the cardstock and sponged Wild Honey Distress Ink over the top. I then added the black flight lines which is from The Stamps of Life Bee4Me stamp set. 

To create the Double Slider Card I used the die set and followed the instructions on this Motion Crafts by Uchi's Design video. 

After I had constructed my card I decorated it using Elizabeth Craft Designs Small Flower set and the Trio of Leaves die sets. I also added Nuvo Drops to the centres of each off the flowers.

For the sentiments I used the "Bee Happy" from the stamp set and also the "Don't Worry" masking off the "be happy" on the second line of the sentiment. I also added the "Pull Here" sentiment to each of the slider panels using a stamp set from Lawn Fawn.

For the inside of my card I added a rectangle panel and added a "bee" themed sentiment which is a sentiment I have had in my stash for years. I also added one of the cute bees from the Motion Crafts by Uchi's Design stamp set.
