Daisy

Yesterday I received my order from Cornish Heritage Farms, they have some of the best background stamps and as you can buy them um they work out fairly cheap. I am very impressed with their stamps, they are very deeply etched so they are easy to get a good impression and you can order them with cushion to go on either an acrylic block or to wood mount them. And another bonus I found with their backgrounds is that they fit a standard card front and I am meaning an Aussie card front which is normally slightly longer than what our US friends use - this is because our standard card stock is a different size to begin with. I know often I have purchased backgrounds from the US before to discover they don't quite fit the full length of a card - these ones do!

Anyway about the card I just created, I made this for the color challenge on SCS. The colors we had to use today were: Tempting Turquoise, Rose Red, Apricot Appeal with the option of using Green Galore. I of course had to play with some of my new stamps, so I picked my new cornflower stamp and lattice backgrounder (I have been wanting this lattice background forever LOL!). The lattice is very soft on this card as I didn't want to lose the apricot appeal color tooo much. The daisy on the tab punch was created using my xyron design runner - I have to admit I haven't used this as much as I would like - mainly cause I keep forgetting about it or what I have to use. So yesterday I sat here and printed out everything on the cartridges I have so I can include it in my stamp catty so I will use it!

Basically the design of this card is the same as the one I used for my "Quack" card, that I created for the featured stamper challenge (Candy Williams) on Sunday - I think I said then I liked the layout so I would use it again so I have.

Recipe:
Stamps: Cornish Heritage Farms
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Rose Red, Apricot Appeal - Stampin' Up; White
Other: Black Ink; French Blue & Amber Clay Fluid Chalks; Slot Punch, Ticket Corner Punch & Tab Punch - Stampin' Up; White Gel Pen; Tria Markers; Foam Tape
