Everything On It!

This card is for the Limited Supply Challenge on SCS, for the challenge this week we had to follow a list that Jen posted to the site. We didn't have to use everything on the list, we just couldn't not use anything more than what was on the list and this included techniques.

Here's what was on the list:
  • Food Stamps
  • Sentiments
  • Up to 2 Backgrounds (stamps)
  • Hemp or Fibres
  • Brads
  • Sponging, Tearing, Distressing
  • Faux Stitching
  • Paper Piercing
  • CS & Ink: Earth Elements and/or Bold Brights + Neutrals
I wanted to use my burger image which I haven't used for a long time, that definitely is a food stamp LOL! For my backgrounds I chose flannel plaid (it reminded me of a table cloth so I thought it suited this card) and a crackle stamp which is on the green panel. I really wanted to use this sentiment as it fits well with the burger but it was too big for the card after the burger was on there and I didn't like it in one piece, so I cut out all the words individually - that seems to work better for this card. I love using brads (I think that is my most used embellishment), so of course I had to include brads on this one. And as I was allowed to do paper piercing I figured why not LOL! I picked the colors from the coloring of the image taking the green from the lettuce and the red from the tomato, I am hoping these are both Bold Brights colors, this is one pack I haven't bothered to buy as yet as they look very similar to some I have plenty of already.

Recipe:
Stamps: Burger & Sentiment - Darcies Rubber Stamps: Flannel Plaid - Stampin' Up; Crackle - Judikins
Paper: White; Red; Lime
Other: Red Brads; Paper Piercing Guide and tool - SU; Black Ink; Lipstick Red & Olive Pastel Fluid Chalks
