It's a Jungle Out There!

This card is for Beate's weekend sketch challenge, I didn't get much of a chance to make this yesterday when I normally would have made it because my dh and I decided to go out for a while and then in the afternoon I had to prepare for a few friends that were coming over for dinner. I did get my lion stamped, cut out and colored and wouldn't you know it the last marker I picked up and opened to color the purple jewel in the crown left a great big blob! arghhhhhhhhhh! So of course I had to start all over again ... and then I had trouble with my brown marker I wanted to use for the main so it is a little darker than I would have liked ... after all that I ended up putting jewels on the crown anyway ... so I needn't have bothered coloring LOL!

This sketch was perfect to use my nestabilities again .... I just love these .... if you don't have them yet .... you really do need them!

If nothing else this one passes the seal of approval from my DH who passed it as I was setting it up to take a photo and told me he really likes it ... as I wasn't looking for comments from him this means a lot!
