Penguin's Play in the Snow!

This card is for Beate's weekend sketch challenge, this is the first time I have played with my penguins from My Favorite Things which I received earlier in the week. This wasn't a set I was planning on purchasing, but after my friend Cindy on SCS kept tempting me with the wonderful cards she was creating with this set in recent months I just had to order it when I placed my order for the latest releases!

I used my circle nestabilities to create my circles for the penguins, I added glitter to represent snow on the bottom section of the circle and some snow flurries (from Hanna Stamps) on the top section. The thin panel behind the circle was created using a cuttlebug die which was layered onto various widths of card.

The white panel was embossed using the cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder. I added a snowflake brad to the top right corner of the card. The verse is by Papertrey Ink and punched out using both sizes of oval punches by SU. The DP is from Stampin' Up's Holiday Thyme collection.
