Hi everyone,
Today I am sharing a "Flying Easel" Card I created using a few of the new Pop It Ups dies designed
by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs which are being released in August. Karen Burniston created a tutorial on this technique a number of years ago using her Pop N Cuts dies, so it was fun to be able to play with this technique again using her new dies. I am looking forward to making a few more of these in the future.
For this card I used the new Labels & Circle die set for the easel part of the card. To decorate the card I used the Halloween Scene die set and Midnight the Bat.
Here is another look at my card this time on it's side so you can see the easel part of the card.
The sentiment is from the Halloween Sentiments Clear Stamp set and was die cut using one of the frames from the Anita Frames Pop Up Card die set.
Here is a look at the front of the card when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope.
The bats on the front of the card were created using the new Stage It Stencil - Bats.
