Merry Christmas

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week our challenge hostess Jessie Rone, continues to issue the challenges.

Being the third Saturday of the month, it is time for a sketch challenge.

For my card today I am using one of the new Mittens die set designed by Joset Designs for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I die cut the overlay image in red and green and the solid mitten in white which had Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape on the top. I adhered the red mitten to the solid layer and inlaid some of the pieces from the green mitten. I then used Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter to the adhesive which was still showing.

For the inside of my card I used the Merry Christmas Pop Up Card die set designed by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs

I added the Stitched Circles and Dotted Scallop Circles for the sentiment. The sentiment is from Joset Designs new Winter Sentiments Clear Stamp set. At the top and bottom edges of the card I added one of the borders from the Bead Strings die set.

Here is a view of my card at an angle so you can see the pop up part of the card a little easier.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.
