Hi everyone,
It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Joanne Grzelak our challenge hostess for October, continues to issue the challenges.
This week we are going to do a ‘recipe’ card. You must use circular and square elements, flower(s), dry embossing, and bling of some sort. Hope you have fun with this one.
For the embossing part of the challenge I used the solid edges from the Square with Circle Frame Edges die set and embossed each of the edges then I colored over the embossed area using dark pink ink. For the bling, I used Pink/Silver Glitter Dots Peel Off Stickers and Pink/Silver Glitter Borders Peel Off Stickers.
I also added the Doily Edge from the Paris Edges die set.
I also needed to use flowers on this card, so I grabbed the Zinnias Stamp set from Flourishes. When I think of flowers I think Mother's Day, so decided to make this card for Mother's Day even though it isn't until next May.
Here is my card when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope.
Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Frances, that is one of my favorite stamps from Flourishes, and your color choices are just gorgeous. I grew zinnias this summer and we got enoughrain that they did really well. I have enjoyed the butterflies and hummingbirds that seem to be attracted to them.
Gorgeous images...gorgeous coloring...gorgeous card.
Such wonderful punched borders with these gorgeous zinnias! A beautiful design, Frances!
