Birthday Balloons

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a birthday card I created recently.

For my card, I used the Birthday Balloons stamp set from Stampendous. I had been thinking about getting this stamp for a long time and finally got around to buying it.

After stamping the image onto white cardstock, I die cut the image using Elizabeth Craft Designs Dashing Rectangles die set. The red balloon is stamped twice so I cold pop one up over the base card for some extra dimension.

I sponged on some Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide around the edges of the panel.

I also added Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Gloss to all the balloons and confetti pieces on the card.

To finish off the card I attached the panel to some rainbow paper I have had in my stash for years.

For the inside of the card I added a stripe of the rainbow paper to the left side of the card. I added a birthday sentiment which is one from Paper Inspirations.
