Bloom!

MFT-FlowerClock-wm

Hi All!

It’s Day 4 of the MFTeasers and I have one more Teasers to share with you! Today the MFT Stamps Design Team are featuring two more of the new sets that are to be released by MFT Stamps on Tuesday 1st March.

The sets being shown today are “Bee Yourself” and “Inspired By Flowers 1”

For my project today I decided to create this clock using the Inspired By Flowers 1 set. This is the first set of four which will be released this year.

I pulled the clock out of the plastic clear frame and removed the face. I traced around this shape onto white card and then stamped my flowers and sentiment onto the card, colored it and then put this back onto the clock. This makes a nice quick present for someone, or a clock to decorate your stamp space.

Hi everyone,

I have another MFTeaser’s to share with you all today in readiness of the MFT Stamps new release, this coming Tuesday 1st March.

Today the MFT Design team are featuring the “Pure Innocence” range, and this month there will be five brand new Pure Innocence sets to be released … you are going to love them!!!!!! The PI’s to be released include: PI Daffodil; PI Warm Fuzzies; PI One Sweet Chick; PI Girl Scout and PI –Boy Scout.

For my card I used the PI Girl Scout stamp set. Seeing I live in Australia, I decided to make my PI  into a Girl Guide which is the equivalent to Girl Scouts. I love that this stamp set will work for Guiding in various different countries.

I used the Die-namics Simply Scallops die along the edge of my thin panel on the left side of my card.

Here is the inside of my card. I stamps the PI girl again in the right hand corner of my card and also stamped one of the sentiments from the set. For those of you who may not know, Juliette Low was the founder of Girl Scouts of USA after working as a Girl Guide Leader in Scotland & London in 1911.

C4C76-FloralParent-wm

Hi everyone,

Today the Design Team are featuring three of the new stamp sets that will be released, these include: “Say What? Stamp Set (co-ordinates with Say What? Die-namic Die)”; and Clearly Sentimental About Parenting”.

It’s also challenge time with the Crazies over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week Angela Wood is back with her last challenge for the month. As Spring is just around the corner (well for those of you up in the Northern Hemisphere), Angela has challenged us to see some flowers on our cards.

For my card today I used the Clearly Sentimental About Parenting stamp set, these are fantastic sentiments! There are flowers on my designer paper and I also added some felt flowers using the Die-namics Flower Trio & Leaf Trio die. I also used the Die-namics Layered Label Die to use for the layers for my sentiment.

Wishing You A Fairy Good Day

MFT-Fairy-Good-wm

Hi everyone!

It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess, Tosh is finishing of her month of challenging us to use our tools. This week the challenge is to use our distress tools, that could be a distress tool or sponging blocks to distress by using ink.

I went with adding my distressing to my card using ink. I used one of MFT Stamps cute Pure Innocence stamps, this one is called PI – Believe In Magic. I used two Die-namics on this, first up the Die-namics Little Open Scallop Strip and the Die-namics Butterflies on the left hand side of my card.

Time Is The Most Valuable Thing!

MFTWSC8-Time-wm

Hi everyone!

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for another Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. I always look forward to Wednesdays as it means another fun sketch to play with and this week is no exception!

The sentiments used on my card today are from MFT Stamps Clearly Sentimental about Time. I used the Die-namics Layered Label Die for my sentiment and I also added the Die-namics Simply Scallops along the left side of my card.

I did change the shape of my card from a rectangle to a square card as it meant what I wanted to fit on my card all fitted a lot better this way.  The base card is another I cut using my cricut machine and the create a critter cartridge.

Fore!

Fore-wm

Hi everyone,

My card today is one I made for a friend who loves golfing. Every year I make her a golfing card for her birthday, I think it is pretty much expected these days hehe!

As you can see I have been playing with my cricut again to create my base card. This was made using the Create A Critter cartridge. The length of my card is normal card size this time so I was able to cut out a folded card rather then two singles and join together as I did for the card I made last week using this style of card.

I am so glad I was able to purchase these cute Golfing Nutz stamps before Cornish Heritage Farms closed down. I added the word “Fore” to the front of the card because it goes with the sentiment inside the card. The “Fore” was stamped on white card, punched out with a circle punch and then embossed using the cuttlebug tiny bubbles embossing folder which makes it look a little bit like a golf ball!

Fore2-wm

Here is the inside of my card. The sentiment used here is from Rubbernecker. I also added another of the nuts that was in the Golfin’ Nutz stamp set.

Stamps: Golf Nutz – Cornish Heritage Farms; Sentiment (inside) – Rubbernecker
Paper: White; Blue; Marjolaine DP – Basic Grey
Other: Black Ink; Cricut; Create A Critter Cartridge; Circle Nestabilities; Circle Punch; Cuttlebug Tiny Bubbles Embossing Folder, Ribbon; Button; Twine; Foam Tape; Copics

Happy Saturday everyone!

Of course Saturday’s mean it is challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week our challenge hostess for February, Angela Wood has given us another fun challenge which is to use dies on your card.

Being the 3rd Saturday of the month it is also time for our sponsored challenge and this month our sponsor for our challenge is Paper Pretties.

7317dtblogbadgeFor my card I used Paper Pretties Under the Sea Sophia, isn’t she a cutie!!! For the die requirement of this challenge I layered Sophia onto a circle Nestabilities, I even used my sewing machine to stitch around the circle … very scary but I did it hehe! I also used MFT Die-namics Catch the wave die as it was perfect for this card.

The layout of my card uses this month's SFYTT sketch challenge.

Hi everyone,

It’s time for another challenge with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This month our challenge hostess Tosh Leyendekker has been focusing on tools for our challenges. This week’s challenge is to use those scoring tools!

For my card I used my scor-pal to create a diamond pattern in the striped designer paper. I added rhinestones where the embossed lines meet.

The roses used along the curved edge of my card were created using MFT Stamps Die-namics MINI Rolled Roses. The sentiment is from MFT Stamps More Essential Sentiments stamp set.

Heart Easel Card!

AlotaHeartEasel2-wm

Hi everyone,

It is challenge time over on the Alota Rubber Stamps blog. This week it is Birgit Edblom’s turn to host the challenge. Birgit has challenged us to use nestabilities on our cards … I love my nesties so this was a pretty easy challenge for me.

Originally I was going to just create a card using my oval nestabilities, but after I had finished I thought well I would have done that anyway … so decided to make something different. I love seeing easel cards in various different shapes, so decided I would make one using the heart nestabilities.

AlotaHeartEasel-wm

For my card I used one of the cute little girls from the Kids unmounted plate that is available from Alota Rubber Stamps.

AlotaHeartEasel3-wm
