More of Circus Riley!

Hi everyone!

It’s day 6 of our sneak peeks of the new Riley stamps that will be released by Riley and Company, this coming Thursday 26th May. It’s almost time for the biggest release ever with 16 new Riley images; 22 accessory images and 21 sentiments being released!

Today’s project I have created a notebook using Hula Hoops Riley, this is such a fun image don’t you think!

It’s that time again when the MFT Stamps designs team begins showing our MFTeasers in preparation of the new stamps which will be released by MFT Stamps after the release party this coming Tuesday 1st March.

Today the Design Team are featuring three of the new stamps to be released. These are “ Sweet & Sassy Stamp set”; “Fred Bear Oopsie Daisy”  and “Flapper Doodles My Favorite Hello”.

For my card today I decided to use the Flapper Doodles My Favorite Hello stamp set. I created a message book to use in conjunction with the phone. The word “Messages” is stamped onto the Die-namics Banner Strip Die & MINI Alphabet Stamp Set.

Here are the details about the upcoming release:

• The MFT release is on Tuesday March 1st at 10 PM EST. You can attend the release party from 8-10 PM EST here in the forum for fun, games, and prizes! All the new sets and dies will be available on March 1st at 10 PM EST.

A Riley Calendar!

Hi everyone,

It’s day 3 of the sneak peeks of the new Riley stamps that will be released by Riley and Company, this coming Thursday 20th January.

Today I am featuring another of the new Riley stamps that are to be released, this one is called Celtic Dancing Riley.

For my project today I decided  to create a calendar out of two coasters. After covering the coasters with designer paper I joined them using my Cinch and binding wire, just like I would a note book.

For my project today I decided to use the Let’s Get Physical WTG set to create an Exercise Journal. I used the MFT Die-namics Jumbo Scallop Die to create the border along the top of my journal. The words “Exercise Journal” are two stamps included in the WTG stamp set. This was stamped onto the MFT Die-namics Layered Labels Die which is included in the VIP kit today and then won’t be available again until the MFT Stamps January release.

Here is the inside of my journal so you can see the information I included in my journal. This was created using my computer.

Be Prepared…. For A Paper Pretties Blog Hop!

Hi everyone and welcome to my blog. It time to join the Paper Pretties Design Team for our Paper Pretties New Release Blog Hop!!.

Today I am using the new Scout Sophia for my project which as you can see is a note book.

I was a Brownie Leader for about 15 years and one of the things I encouraged my Brownies to carry was a notebook. You never know when you might need to write something down, which is why I decided to create one today. This actually matches the card I created using the same stamp set last Saturday, so that they can be given together as a gift when a Brownie makes her Promise.

I decided to make my scout into a Junior Girl Scout, as I liked the colors of the uniform. In Australia our girls are called Scouts but Girl Guides, the uniforms are also different but other then that they basic do the similar things.

Here is one of the inside pages of my notebook. I stamped Sophia and the Girl Scout Motto at the bottom of each page in the book. This will be a good reminder to the Girl Scout of the Promise she made and her Girl Scout Motto.

I have another Paper Pretties sneak peek to share with you all today. These stamps will be released by Paper Pretties this coming Friday 10th December.

This time round the Paper Pretties Design Team are all featuring the new “Scout Cooper” stamp set.

I decided to create a note book using The Cinch binding tool. I added the Fleur de lis border along the right side of the book as the fleur de lis is a special symbol in Scouting.

E Girl Password Book!

Hi everyone,

A few week’s ago I posted a password book I created to give as a gift to someone for Christmas. Well after making that one I decided it was about time I made one for myself too.

For my book I used MFT Stamps Who's That E Girl. I didn’t want to use the whole image as that wouldn’t have left much room for anything else so I stamped it onto my card and then used my nestabilities to cut it into a circle.

Here is another view of the front of my book. For mine I decided to divide the alphabet into 5 categories instead of the 4 I used for the other book.

The word “Passwords” is stamped out onto the Mini Banner Strip Die-namic die & alphabet set. As the word wouldn’t fit in one line I decided to do it in two lines.

Password Book!

Hi everyone,

I have been playing with my Cinch again … I just love that tool! For those who don’t know the cinch is a binding tool and it is so very easy to use.

I needed to make a handmade gift to give as a Christmas gift swap for a group of friends I get together with each month. After a little thought I decided to create a Password book … anyone who uses the internet a lot knows that you tend to amass passwords arghhhhh.

I have divided this book into 4 different sections so that it is easier to locate the particular password you need rather than having to search through the whole book.

Here is a pic of the inside pages … it has a section for you to write the website; username; password and any notes you might need.

Now I just need to make one of these for me!

Now I must warn you that my post is very long today as I have a lot of photos of the projects I created for this hop … I hope you enjoy!

For my first project today, I have created a calendar for 2011. It has been a while since I have created a calendar … I used to make lots of calendars and even run a very large calendar swap with a group of stamps in Australia/New Zealand. So it was fun to be able to make one today using my Riley stamps.

I have used 7 of the 10 new Riley’s/Sophie's that are being released today in this project, plus 5 other previously released Riley's. Of course what else would Riley be doing in January but celebrating the New Year! This Riley is called Martini Riley.

For my February page I used Window Riley, this one is from the July release. If you follow my blog you would probably remember that I recently purchased The Cinch Binding Tool which I just love, this is what I used to create my calendar.

Bouncy Ball Riley bounces onto my page for March … maybe I should have used this one for April … it might have suited April Fool but it is here to stay now hehe! This is another from the July release.

You might notice that I have used images for months that many of you wouldn’t use … remember I live in Australia so the seasons are all different to those in the Northern Hemisphere … April is the second month of autumn which is why I used Raking Leaves Riley on this page. This stamp was release in September as part of the Halloween/Fall release.

This cutie is Gift Box Riley … it reminds me of birthdays and Mother’s Day which is why I added it to my May page. This is one of the new stamps being released today!

June is the beginning of winter where I live so I used Ice Skating Sophie for this page …. this is another of the new stamps being released today.

This Snowball Riley makes me laugh … he is so adorable … I think maybe I might end up like that if I was anywhere near snow hehe!

For my August page I used another brand new stamp … this one is Sledding Riley.

Spring arrives in September in Australia so I used this cute Under The Tree Riley.

Even though Halloween isn’t big in Australia … I couldn’t resist using a Halloween image … the other Halloween images released in September didn’t fit on this page so I used this cute Popping Pumpkin Riley.

For November’s page I used Angel Riley … for no other reason that I wanted to hehe … what better reason is there … this is one of the new Riley’s being released today.

And finally for the last month of my calendar, December … I used Ornaments Riley. The calendar pages used in this calendar was a download I found in the Template Forum of SCS.

My last project I have for you today is a Christmas card in the shape of a Christmas Cracker. I used Ornaments Riley for this.

Here is the inside of my card, the sentiment used here is from Moose Sayings 1 sentiment set.

Christmoose Is Coming!

Hi everyone,

Today starts the beginning of the sneak peeks of the new Riley stamps that will be available from Riley and Company this coming Thursday 18th November. It’s Holiday Time is the theme for this upcoming release, there will be 10 new Riley/Sophie images and 2 new sentiment sets being release.

I had a ball creating all the samples for this release and over the next few days I will be sharing with you various cards/projects that can be used for Christmas. So don’t forget to come back everyday to see what I have new!

There are a lot of things to remember when it comes to Christmas … did I buy a gift for this person …. who do I need to send Christmas cards to and where did I put those receipts in case that T shirt I got so and so doesn’t fit. I am sure you all know what I mean, so this year I decided to create my own Christmas Planner notebook that I can use to keep a record of all this information.

For this I used the new Antlers Riley, isn’t he adorable!!!! . I used my new Cinch binding tool to create the book, I so love this machine! The wording used on this book was created on my computer.

Every year I always create my own gift tags. Of course I had to make a few Riley tags, this time using Stocking Sophie … another cutie don’t you think!!!! I paper pieced the stocking using designer paper.
