Sending Christmas Cheer

Hi Crafty Friends,

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Nicky Foden our challenge hostess for the month continues to issue the challenges.

Being the third Saturday of the month, it is time for a sketch challenge.

As I knew I was decorating the inside of my card with a snowy/Christmas theme, I wanted something snow related on the front, and those curves on the sketch reminded me of snow. I used Spellbinders A2 Curved Borders to create the curves on the top and bottom panels.

I added the North Pole to the space where the oval is shown on the sketch.

I just one of the patterned papers I used on the front for the sky area on the inside of the card. I added the snow border along the bottom,  using the same die I used for the curves on the front.

I used Karen Burniston's Katherine Label Pop-up die set to add the sentiment to my card.

To decorate my card I used the Santa, Christmas Tree and North Pole Sign which is from Simon Says Stamp's Christmas Cheer stamp set which I was able to purchase a few months back from them super cheap in one of the steals and deals sales.

The snowflakes are from the Evergreens Pivot Panels die set which I die cut from white cardstock that had Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape on the front and then covered the adhesive with Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter.

The deer and presents are from Lawn Fawn's Ho Ho Holidays stamp set.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.
