Poinsettia Slimline

 

Hi Crafty  Friends,

I have another Christmas themed Slimline Card to share with you today, using stamps and dies from Divinity Designs October 2020 Blessings Box.

For my card today I used the Slimline Card Base; Slimline Layering Rectangles and Slimline Poinsettia Background to create the Slimline portion of the card.

I die cut the Slimline Poinsettia Background die from white cardstock. After die cutting the design, I then embossed the design to bring out the texture on the panel and then while the die was still in place I blended ink through the holes in the die to add color to the design. 

I added Silver gems to the centres of each of the poinsettias on the slimline panel.

I added the "Merry Christmas" sentiment which is from the Candy Cane Wishes Stamp/Die Duo set which is layered onto a panel using the Double Stitched Pennants die set.

I kept the inside of the card fairly simple, by adding a label from the Vintage Labels 2 die set and added the "Joy to the World" sentiment.
