Hello Friend!

PP-Monkey-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s day 2 of the Paper Pretties sneak peeks in readiness for the release of the new Paper Pretties stamps which are to be released this coming Wednesday 9th February.

Today the Paper Pretties Design Team are featuring the Smile Monkey stamp set.

For my card today I used designer paper from the Hey Birdie 6 x 6 Paper pad from Kaisercraft. I thought the colors of the leaves on the design paper mirrored the colors I used for my leaves and flowers on the main image.

For the inside of my card I stamped the monkey again on the lower left hand corner of my card and one of the sentiments on the right side.

    Love You!

    C4C73-Valentine2-wm

    Happy Saturday everyone!

Saturday is challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week is the first Saturday of a new month which means we have a new challenge host …. Angela Wood. Angela has challenged us to create a Valentine’s card.

    C4C73-Valentine-wm

I created another Sliding Pop-Up card using the tutorial that can be found on SCS. I have had so much fun with these cards, (I will have another for you later in the week). I used two Magnolia stamps to create this card, Sister & Brother (I figured they looked like sweethearts) and the background is also a Magnolia stamp, which I colored using my copic airbrush.

    C4C73-Valentine3-wm

Here is another view of my card.

A Little Birdie Told Me …

    CCEE1105-BirdDay-wm

    Hi everyone,

It’s time for another challenge with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month, it’s time for a new challenge hostess which is Tosh Leyendekker. Tosh is focusing on tools for our challenges this month and to start of the month we had to use punches!

Now I have one or two punches sitting around the place so this was a good challenge to get a couple of them used.

I combined two of the new Pure Innocence sets that were released by MFT stamps earlier in the week. These sets are PI Out on a Limb and PI You’re so Tweet.

For the punch portion of the challenge I used my Martha Stewart Woodland Branches border punch. You can see it peeking out along the border which is behind my main image. I also used it to edge my rosette die cut it using the MFT Die-namics Rosette 1/4” die. The pink centre piece on top of the rosette was created using MFT Die-namics Perfect Petals die.

    I’m Busy Now …..Let’s Hop & Shop!

    MFT-FlopseySlidingPopUp-wm

It’s release day over on MFT Stamps, which means it is time to join the MFT Stamps Design Team for another "Blog Hop and Shop!".

The hop started at Kim's (MFT Lady) blog so if you didn’t start from there you may want to head over there now so that you can start at the beginning of the hop. You don't want to miss anything and believe me there is lots to see!

Tonight I am featuring the latest sentiments in the Twisted line … Twisted Foursome, for those of you who like a sentiment which is a little tongue in cheek you are going to like the latest addition to this range.

I love this “I’m Busy Now. Can I ignore you later” sentiment I used on the front of my card. When I think of it, this is probably what happens when I get involved in creating a card … you forget all about what is around you LOL! MFT-FlopseySlidingPopUp2-wm

I love construction style cards, so I decided to create a Sliding Pop-Up Card which was one of the recent tutorials over on SCS. I also used the new Flopsey set, this one is called Smooth Sailing …. isn’t he just adorable!!!!!!

My card also uses three MFT Die-namic dies including two brand new dies being released today. These dies are Die-namics Flat Bottom Cloud; Die-namics Catch The Wave and Die-namics Sunshine die.

If you look closely at my card you can see I used the “catch the waves die at the bottom of my card under the sentiment which you only see when you open the card as well as in front of Flopsey’s sailing boat. The sentiment on the flap that opens out is also from the Twisted Foursome set. In case you can’t read it on my photo of my card above it reads “So much to do, so few people to do it for me”. I definitely would love to get someone else to do all the boring stuff, like housework so I can do all the fun stuff like stamping. Or in Flopsey’s case sailing!

Here is another photo of my card so you can see some of the details a little better.

Well that is about it from me for today, now it is time to hop on over to the blog of the marvellously talented Barbara Anders and see what awesome creation she has to share with you today.

    MFT-ParentsLove-wm

    Hi again,

I have one more MFTeaser to share with you all today.

Today the MFT Stamps Design Team are featuring two more of the new stamps which will be released by MFT Stamps after the release party tonight, over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. The sets featured today is “WTG – My How You’ve Grown” and “Clearly Sentimental About Parenting”.

I used both of the featured stamps to create my card today. The image is from the WTG – My How You’ve Grown stamp set and the sentiments inside and out are from the Clearly Sentimental About Parenting stamp set.

It is amazing how quickly little ones grow. My grandson is now 8 months old can you believe it! He gets more and more interesting each time I see him as he has learnt something else.

I used the Layered Labels Die-namics under the main image and also the Jumbo Scallop Die-namics die at the bottom of my card.

Here is the inside of my card. The sentiment is from the Clearly Sentimental About Parenting set which is this month’s triple scoop set. This was stamped onto the Polka Dot Greeting Die and then layered onto the Layered Labels Die.
