Color My World …. Let’s Hop & Shop!

It’s release day over on MFT Stamps, which means it is time to join the MFT Stamps Design Team for another "Blog Hop and Shop!".

The hop started at Kim's (MFT Lady) blog so if you didn’t start from there you may want to head over there now so that you can start at the beginning of the hop. You don't want to miss anything and believe me there is lots to see!

Tonight I am featuring two of the new stamp sets that are being released, these are Typewriter Alphabet and PI – You Color My World.

The Typewriter Alphabet stamp set comes with Upper Case, Lower Case , Numbers and a few other common things you might need like … nd, rd, th, and &. These come in two sizes, the size I used on my card above is the larger size and there is a smaller size if you need it. You also get some round circle (the typewriter keys) in both open & solid that you can use with the alphabets. I used the Open circle on my card today.

I have used two of the new MFT Die-namics on the front of my card. First up I used the High Tea Doily and this looks just like a real doily and I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!! You can cut your doilies out of any card or designer paper you wish. There is also a Pop-Out tool which helps to remove all those cut out bits from the doily after die cutting it.

The second die I used on the front was the new Fish Tail Banner Die …. another must have die. This is a 4 piece die set and has the two pieces for the banner as well as the circle pieces that can go on top of the banner, which I used to stamp the word “Art” onto.

I love this PI, the set comes with her without the beret, which is another stamp in the set that you can use if you wish, as well as the splatters which I stamped beside her paintbrush.

Because this set is all about color, I decided to use three different colors of twine on my card today, these are …. Caribbean Teal Twine; Lemondrop Yellow Twine and Mandarin Orange Twine.

Here is the inside of my card, I used two of the sentiment from the set and also added the PI girl again. I also used another of the new MFT Die-namics being released tonight which is the Die-namics Open Zig Zag Border.

I have one more MFTeaser to share with you all today.

Today the MFT Stamps Design Team are featuring two more of the new stamps which will be released by MFT Stamps after the release party tonight, over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS.

The sets featured today is “WTG – Fiesta!” and “Clearly Sentimental About Success”.

For my card I have used the WTG – Fiesta! stamp set …. doesn’t she look like she is having fun! I paper pieced the WTG’s dress. On the right hand side of my card I used Charcoal & Maraschino Twine. I also used two of the new MFT Die-namics which are also being released tonight, these are:

• Open Scallop Doily
• Pretty Posies

For the inside of my card I stamped one of the sentiments and also added the chilli stamp on either side, these are also included in the WTG stamp set. The border along the bottom of my card was created using another MFT Die-namics Little Open Scallop Strip.

MFTeasers … Pure Innocence

Hi everyone,

I have another MFTeaser’s to share with you all today in readiness of the MFT Stamps new release, this coming Tuesday 5th April.

Today the MFT Design team are featuring the “Pure Innocence” range, and this month there will be five brand new Pure Innocence sets to be released … you are going to love them!!!!!! The PI’s to be released include: PI Graduation Girl; PI Graduation Boy; PI Crazy For Daisies; PI I Get A Kick Out Of You and PI You Color My World.

For my first project today I used the PI Crazy For Daisies set to create my April page to my calendar I have been making each month this year using the PI’s that contain the flower of the month … Daisies being the flower for April. I paper pieced the little girls dress using brown polka dot designer paper.

I decorate my calendar using two MFT Die-namics. Down the bottom I used the new Die-namics Fish Tail Banner Die to stamp on my month and the flower of the month… Daisy. The flowers at the top were created using the Die-namics Upsy Daisy Flower Builder Die.

My next card uses PI Graduation Boy, isn’t he a cutie!!!! I guess it won’t be long before it is time to think of Graduations up in the USA and other parts of the Northern Hemisphere.

The scallop border at the bottom of my card was created using one of the new to be released dies …. this is the MFT Die-namics Simply Scallops Medium Die. I also added some Caribbean Twine around the bottom of my card.

For the inside of my card I used the MFT Die-namics Simply Scallops Medium Die along the bottom edge of my card. The banner at the top was created using the new Die-namics Fishtail Banner Die. The letters on the banner were created using the new Typewriter Alphabet which is also being released on Tuesday. The sentiment at the bottom of the card is one included in the PI Graduation Boy Stamp set.

It’s day 2 of the MFTeasers, in preparation of the release of the new stamp sets which are all due to be released by MFT Stamps this coming Tuesday 5th April.

Today the Design Team are featuring three of the new stamp sets that will be released, these include: “Clearly Sentimental About Music”; “Flopsey Fishing” and “Jolinne Once Upon A Time”.

My card today uses the new Flopsey Fishing Stamp set, what a fun set! This would be a fabulous set to use for the men in our lives as well as anyone else who loves fishing. I paper pieced Flopsey’s hat using designer paper.

For the inside of my card I created a scene, this could be the woods just beside the lake where Flopsey is finishing. For the scene I used the new MFT Die-namics Tear Drop Tree Topper and also the Die-namics Jumbo Scallop Border Die. I also added one of the sentiments that come with this Flopsey stamp set.

It is challenge time over on the Alota Rubber Stamps blog. This week it is Ria Van Son’s turn to host the challenge.As today is April 1st aka April Fool’s Day, Ria has challenge us to create something funny.

Hold Me Tight!

It’s that time again when the MFT Stamps designs team begins showing our MFTeasers in preparation of the new stamps which will be released by MFT Stamps after the release party this coming Tuesday 5th April.

Today the Design Team are featuring three of the new stamps to be released. These are “ Flapper Doodles Hold Me Tight”; “Typewriter Alphabet” and “Own Your Story”.

For my card today I used the new Flapper Doodles Hold Me Tight stamp set, this is such a sweet set. This set would be perfect for so many occasions including Mother’s Day which is coming up next month. I have paper pieced the mothers and little girls dressing using designer paper.

I have also used three of the new MFT Die-namics for this card, these are:
