Happy Birthday Janet!

It’s birthday time for not one but two of our Paper Prettie Design Team Members. Today Janet Rossi is a year older, Happy Birthday Janet!!!

It’s day 2 of the Paper Pretties sneak peeks in readiness for the release of the new Paper Pretties stamps which are to be released this coming Wednesday 11th May.

Today the Paper Pretties Design Team are featuring the Graduation Fairy Sofie stamp set. Isn’t she just so adorable!!! I used a recent Mojo183 sketch for the layout of my card.

It’s also Saturday which means it’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week our challenge hostess for the month, Joanne Grzelak has challenged us to use lots of flowers on our card as April Flowers Bring May Flowers.

Master Of The Grill!

Hi everyone,

Today starts the beginning of the Paper Pretties sneak peeks in readiness for their release this Wednesday 11th May. Paper Pretties will be releasing 5 brand new sets … I am sure you are going to love them.

To start off the Pretties Peeks, the design team are showcasing the Handy Man stamp set. This set contains 3 fun images that are just perfect for the men in our lives. It is always so hard finding male stamp sets, that I know you will love this one! I have used the BBQ for my card today, the other images included in the set are a Lawn Mower and a Tool Box. There are also some awesome sentiments to go with all these images.

The layout of my card uses a recent sketch from the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge blog (SSSC114).

Friendship!

Hello everyone,

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a new month we have a new challenge hostess which is Shirley Quarry.

Today is Cinco de Mayo day so lets get a card whipped up that relates to this day whether it be bright colors, a cute Taco Bell dog, etc..

I decided to create a card with bright colors. I used MFT Stamps new Clearly Sentimental About Friendship set. I also used MFT Die-namics Scallop Ribbon Die and MFT Die-namics Butterfly Die.  I also used Honeydew Twine around the centre of my card.

Here is the inside of my card, basically it is the same layout as the front but without the butterflies.

Up, Up and Away!

It’s time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge over on the Paper Pretties Blog. This week being the first Wednesday of the month, it is my turn to supply the sketch for our Pretties sketch challenge.

For my card I used Celebrate Sophia, I thought it would be fun to stamp Sophia into each of the little rectangles so that it appears that she is flying away holding that balloon hehe!

I am back again today with another MFT card to share with you. It’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS.

For my card today I used MFT Stamps new PI Roll With It stamp set. Isn’t she a cutie! I used 3 MFT Die-namics on the front of my card, these are:

• Open Scallop Doily Die
• Scallop Ribbon Die
• Say What Die

Pucker Up …. Let’s Hop & Shop!

It’s release day over on MFT Stamps, which means it is time to join the MFT Stamps Design Team for another "Blog Hop and Shop!".

The hop started at Kim's (MFT Lady) blog so if you didn’t start from there you may want to head over there now so that you can start at the beginning of the hop. You don't want to miss anything and believe me there is lots to see!

Tonight I am featuring two of the new stamp sets that are being released, these are P I – Pucker Up.

This is such a cute set, the 25c on the sign is a separate stamp so you could put anything you liked in it’s place. I love the new Die-namics Scallop Ribbon Border, it is perfect for sentiments!!!!!! I also used the Die-namics Butterflies on the top right hand corner of my card.

Here is the inside of my card. I stamped one of the sentiments from the set and also added the lemon image to each side of the sentiment. I used the Die-namics Scallop Ribbon Border again and also the Die-namics Well Worn Greetings Die for my sentiment.

MFTeasers … Pure Innocence

Hi everyone,

I have another couple of MFTeasers to share with you all today in readiness of the MFT Stamps new release, this coming Tuesday 3rd May.

Today the MFT Design team are featuring the “Pure Innocence” range, and this month there will be five brand new Pure Innocence sets to be released … you are going to love them!!!!!! The PI’s to be released include: PI Lily of the Valley; PI Roll With It; PI Skater Boy; PI Pucker Up and PI Fresh From The Oven.

For my first project today I used the PI Lily Of The Valley set to create my May page to my calendar I have been making each month this year using the PI’s that contain the flower of the month … Lily of the Valley being the flower for May. I paper pieced the little girls dress using the same designer paper I used for the background of my calendar.

I decorate my calendar using two MFT Die-namics. Down the bottom I used the new Die-namics Scallop Ribbon Border to stamp on my month and the flower of the month… Lilly. I also added a butterfly using the Die-namics Butterflies.

Here is the inside of my card, I stamped the PI girl in the lower right hand corner of my card. The sentiment is stamped on the new MFT Die-namics Well Worn Greetings die.
