A group of friends & I have started doing a weekly challenge. This week the challenge was to create a birthday card that would appeal to a cheerleader. As I had a cheerleader stamp I decided I would use that to create my card/s.
For the first card I stamped my cheerleader onto the white card, masked the cheerleader and stamped the oval shadow. I then used my snap stamps to stamp "cheers" all away around three sides of the card. I have used my weave background to create the background on the pink card. More snap stamps for the verse on the long panel down the bottom and finished the card off with the 3 brads down the side of the card.
This second card I stamped the cheerleader, masked her and stamped the oval shadow and layered her onto red and yellow card. I also used my ticket corner punch to decorated the corners of all the layers.
I created my background to this card using my rice paper background stamp by Cornish Heritage Farms and the stripes down the bottom by Cats Pajamas - these were both stamped in red. I used circle punches to create my circles down the side and again my snap stamps for the verse - gotta love those snap stamps!
