Well this morning I am not feeling all that inspired, however I still wanted to get some stamping done as there are more challenges today plus I hadn't done the featured stamper challenge yet which I normally do on Sundays. So I decided the best thing to do was to go and do the featured stamper challenge, this week the featured stamper is Lauraly and she has a fantastic gallery! I wanted to play with one of the sets I got yesterday so picked this card. I also decided to combine it with one of today's DD challenges and the one I chose is Shel9999's "distressing challenge", I used my distressing tool to distress all the edges of the card.
I am not 100% happy with this card, I am soooooo wishing I had some of that pretty designer paper Lauraly used but as I don't I had to create my own backgrounds for which I used the cuttlebug tiny bubbles embossing folder and the polka dot background stamp. Oh btw the left petal doesn't look like that in real life, it must be the light reflecting on it .... it actually looks exactly like the other 4.
I used my corner rounder to create my scallop edge along the bottom of the centre panel. I also played with my party punch set and designer label punch I got yesterday.
Changes I made:
* Changed the colors
* Distressed my edges
* Used my tiny bubbles cuttlebug embossing folder for background
* Used my polka dot stamp for background
* Different ribbon
* Party Punch stamp & designer label punch for greeting.
