I can't recall ever making any 4th of July cards before so here is my first try. Living in Australia I don't have much call for them. I made these card for a fun challenge I am doing with a few friends. This was the card that started me using that striped background all last week LOL. I had fun creating these 2 cards, after I had cut up the card to create the first one I figured I might as well use the remaining scraps to make the second one otherwise they may have been wasted as I would have forgotten about them. I do own a few American themed stamps so it was great to be able to use at least one of them and I haven't used that fireworks background for so long either - it was glad to get inked!
To my American friends - I wish you all a Happy 4th July and to my Canadian friends a belated Happy Canada Day - I meant to say that yesterday in a post and forgot!
Recipe:

Paper: Red, White & Blue
Other: Blue Iris Fluid Chalk; Real Red SU Ink; Black Ink; White Brilliance Ink; Red Star Eyelets; Tab Punch - SU

Awesome!! You go, girl!! :) Thanks for thinking of us. Hope you have a WONDERFUL week! We plan to BBQ with some friends from the church we use to go to, and then go to my parents to watch fireworks. The girls LOVE sitting on their lawn to watch them with blankets and popcorn :)
