May Your Day Be Merry & Bright!

I just couldn't help myself .... I just had to make another card for this weeks sketch challenge. I am not sure why I made a Christmas card ... it isn't as if I need anymore, the majority of my cards will be posted tomorrow. But I guess it doesn't hurt to have a few extras just in case and if I don't use them this year ... then there is always next year!

I received some Basic Grey DP from a friend for Christmas .... so I just had to get some out and play with it. I also wanted to use my "Take a Bough" set from Papertrey Ink ... I have used the verses in other cards but not the actual branch and ornaments so I figured it was about time I did ... I do love this set!

The bough, leaves & verse are stamped directly onto the blue DP. The ornament is stamped on white card, punched out using a circle punch and then attached to the card ..... I also clear circle page pebble to highlight the ornament. To finish off that panel I added a paper pierced corner to the top right corner.

Recipe:
Stamps: Take A Bough - Papertrey Ink
Papers: Always Artichoke & Bravo Burgundy - Stampin' Up; Black; Figgy Pudding DP - Basic Grey
Other: Black Ink; Chocolate Chip & Cranberry Crisp SU Ink; Old Olive & Dark Moss Fluid Chalk; Burgundy Grosgrain Ribbon; Paper Piercing Mat & Tool
