MFTeaser Day 5

Hi everyone and happy Sunday! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.

It’s day 5 of the MFTeasers and I have another teaser to share with you! Today the MFT Stamps Design Team are featuring more of the new sets that are to be released by MFT Stamps on Tuesday 11th December.

The set being shown today are “à la modes You’re My Cup of Tea” .

As you can see i decided to make a teabag caddy and matching card for my project today.



For my card I used the new Die-namics Postage Stamp stax for the layers of my image panel and the panel to the left of this. I paper pieced the girls dress using designer paper. I embellished the card using the Die-namics Winter Rose & the Die-namics Sentimental Flourish. I love the look of these two die-namics together. I topped the flower off with a Jelly Bean Green Button and Hemp Cord.

On the inside of my card I stamped one of the sentiments from the à la modes You’re My Cup of Tea stamp set. I added the Die-namics Mini Double Dot Border where the two designer papers meet and I also added the teapot, cup/saucer and spoon from the Die-namics Always Time for Tea.







For the tea caddy I adapted a few different versions that I found online. I wanted to add the à la modes You’re My Cup of Tea girl so I used the Die-namics Circle Stax 1 & 2 to cut out just the top portion of the image as the whole image wouldn’t fit on the front.

Here is another view of the tea caddy so you can see the top of the caddy. I used the Die-namics Winter Rose & the Die-namics Sentimental Flourish, just as I did on the front of my card.  I again topped the flower off with a Jelly Bean Green Button and Hemp Cord.
