Next I have used CHF’s ATC - 5006 Haute Couture to create an ATC. It has been a while since I have made an ATC, but I thought seeing the set is called ATC it was about time I did. The background was created using various distress inks.

CHF Haute Couture wm

As you can see I turned the ATC into a card, that is the fun thing about this set it can be used for ATC’s but it can also be used to make cards and many other projects too. This is such a fun set with lots of fun images in it, I have also stamped some of the images from the set onto the background paper.

Well that is about it from me for today, now it is time to hop on over to the blog of Kris Chirhart and see what fabulous creations she has install for you today.

Enjoy the rest of the hop and thanks for dropping by! Don't forget to leave comments on all the blogs, so that you have a chance to win some blog candy.

Hi everyone,

It has been a while since I created an ATC so I thought that is what I would do for this week's Pretties Tuesday Post.

The stamps I used for this are from Paper Pretties Howdy Girlfriend set. After stamping out Sophia I then used my oval nestabilities to die cut the oval shape. I also used one of my fav color combinations pink & brown!

Just Hangin’ …. an ATC!

hanna just hanging ATC Hi everyone!

Today starts the beginning of the sneak peeks of the new stamps that will be released by Hanna Stamps on Monday 4th May after the release party.

I combined my sneak peek with this week’s Hanna Stamps Friday challenge over on the Hanna Stamps Member Forum of SCS. This week Judy Workman challenge us all to create something flat that wasn’t a card e.g.. tag, bookmark, ATC etc. As you can see I went with an ATC.

My ATC uses the new “Pool Party” ATC, and I guess you could say it really is just a peek of what is in this new set. Are you ready for summer!

Hanna Stamps have two guest designers this month, click on the links below to check out there blogs and creations using the new release sets.

Pretties Wednesday - Make A Splash!

Hello there!

It is Pretties Wednesday ..... every Wednesday one of the Prettie Girls issues a challenge to the rest of the Prettie Girls, we get two weeks to create our card/project for that challenge and upload it to our blogs on the Wednesday a fortnight after the challenge was issued.

Two weeks ago it was my turn to challenge the Prettie Girls ... now seeing that today is April 1st I really wanted to make it something relating to April Fools day but I really couldn't think of anything ... which is probably a good thing hehe .... especially for the other Prettie Girls hehe!

Anyway I finally decided what my challenge was going to be which was to make an ATC. It had been sometime since I had made an ATC so I thought this might be a fun challenge to do.

You can see my ATC at the top of this post .... I used the new "Splish Splash Sophia"that will be released by Paper Pretties later tonight 1st April. I think she is adorable!!!!!!

Normally when I create an ATC, I leave it as an ATC and send it that way. However this time round I decided to use my ATC as the focal point of my card.

The dots on the right side of my card were created using the dottix sizzix texture plate. I also added two orange splash eyelets to my card ... I haven't used eyelets for ages and it isn't as if I don't have heaps of them ... cause I do!

Don't forget to check out what the rest of the Prettie Girls created for this challenge:
On Sunday April 1st, Paper Pretties will be having their monthly Stampin In Your Jammies party!! The party starts at 6pm CDT and will last until 9pm. We will be issuing a challenge every hour so be sure to come and play along!! Besides the challenges, chatter, and all around fun, we will also be releasing Sophia Ballerina, Sweets for the Sweet in Rubber, Bunny Slippers in Rubber, and a new set!! Sneak peeks start on Monday, March 30th!! Hope to see you there!!

A Quick December ATC Calendar

Here is a quick ATC calendar I did for December on Monday night. Most of you won't know that every year I run a calendar swap down here in Australia ... there are several different calendar themes one of them being an ATC calendar.... unfortunately each year I also get at least one no show.... this year was no exception ... so rather than sending the ATC calendar back to everyone without December in it I quickly put together this one on Monday night as I had a friend coming over on the Tuesday to sort them all.

The background was created by using two colors of adirondack colorwash spray ... I used the closest I had to Christmas colors which was lettuce and Cranberry ... I then stamped the santa image on top using black ink.

The calendar was created using my computer and printed onto white card, as you can see I also spritzed the calendar part a little as I didn't want it to be tooo white.

Dirty Dare - Oh EEE PEE!

Of course I get all those new stamps today and what is the first thing I use for today's DD challenges ...... new stamps - no! Really old stamps - yes!

It is Monday here in Australia so it isn't going to be as easy today to get all the 8 challenges done plus there is the featured stamper challenge to do as well which I normally do ..... I do have to get housework done sometime! Although as these DD challenges are just a once only thing I also want to get as many done as possible so today I am doing a little housework ..... a challenge ..... some more housework ..... another challenge. We will see how that goes .... so far I am doing ok!

This ATC is for the DD challenges and again combines two challenges. This time the challenges are Bad Sherry's twisted & demented challenge and Taylor's ATC challenge. I have quite a lot of stamps which would be suitable for the twisted & demented challenge which is why I went for old stamps for this challenge and as I want to get as many challenges done as I can I decided to make mine into an ATC. I wasn't sure if I would fit the girl and the dog onto the ATC but it did which I was happy about. I love this little girl but she does look like she would be saying some like "Oh EEEE" about something or other .... this time about the dog .... which I guess you can't blame her in a way ;)

Anyway I did use something new from my stash today ....... my new photo corner punch which I soooo love ...... I can see this being used a lot!

Paper: White; Pansy Bazzill; Real Red - SU

ATC - Cheers

Here are some ATC's I made for a swap I am in, the theme for the swap was "Ribbon" we had to include ribbon somehow on our ATC. This is what I came up with. I wanted to stamp something on a scallop shape so I ended up going with this girl and my scallop oval punch, I even had room to add the word - Cheers!

The background is created by first stamping my polka dot stamp all over the pink card using rouge fluid chalk and then using my spots & dots cuttlebug embossing folder to create the texture. Of course I then added my ribbon to the card. I enjoyed making this one.

Recipe:
Stamps: Girl - Inky Antics; Cheers - Stamping Bella; Polka Dots - SU
Paper: White; Pink and Fuchsia
Other: Black Ink; Rouge Fluid Chalk; Oval Scallop Punch; Pink Grosgrain Ribbon; Spots & Dots Cuttlebug Embossing Folder

Flashback Friday - ATC's

Well for today's flashback we aren't going all that far back, just to last year I think for most of these. I thought today I would share with you some ATC's I created for various swaps.

The first ATC was created for a swap here to coincide with the release of a new supplement for one of our local stamp manufacturers here in Australia. The company is Stamp It and these were a couple I had purchased at a show when the stamps were released!

One thing I love about swaps is that it gives you the opportunity to use some stamps you might not have used in a long time if ever. I purchased this bear stamp & verse a number of years ago as I used to participate in a bear swap and I thought it was different and sometimes I just like different . I had used it previously but not for a long time cause I guess there isn't much call to use a bear tied in a chair often. But someone decided to host a "tortured teddies" atc swap so of course I just had to join the swap and I knew immediately what stamp I would be using!
This USA atc was created for an international theme ATC swap. As I had already created ATC's using French & Oriental themes I wanted to do something different so decided on the USA. This also gave me the opportunity to use some of my USA themed stamps I own.
I created this one for a "Red, Black & Gold" theme someone hosted. I even got out my gold embossing powder and embossed the mesh on the top left corner and the word happy. I don't often do much embossing these days.
Here another, hope you aren't sick of them yet! This one I did for a calendar swap I hosted last year and that I will be hosting again here in Australia. We each were given a month and had to include that somehow on our atc - this is what I came up with. As I had May I also include Mothers day in mine. I also had a calendar stamp for May which I was given a few years back which also worked for 2007 so I knew I wanted to use it - I don't think it suits again for a long time now so glad I got the opportunity. I guess I could still use the calendars but I would have to omit the month and replace it for one that suited the year. I found a perpetual calendar online a few years back which I find handy so I can reuse calendar grids I have created in the past without the need to create a new one.
Here is the last one for today, I have heaps more I have created but it makes for a long post. This one I made for a Christmas theme last year. I love the little angel which is by alota rubber stamps. It may be hard to tell but after I stamped and colored the angel image, I covered the piece with versamark ink and covered it with iridescent Ice embossing powder to give it a glittery look.

ATC - Blue Flourish

These atc's are for another atc swap I am in, this one is for a Rainbow Color atc Swap. There are 9 people in the swap and everyone is given a color - White; Red; Orange; Yellow; Green; Blue: Indigo; Violet; Rainbow. I know white isn't really part of the rainbow but it was added to get the 9 participants so that there all fit in one of those 9 pocket plastic sleeves. Of course the color I chose was Blue - it is my favorite color!
It took me a little while to work out what I was going to do for this particular swap, blue isn't a hard color to do but I have done a few blue atc's in the past one being the rubber cement atc for the atc technique swap I am hosting.

Anyway I finally decided to go with my flourish stamps from Autumn Leaves, I do like them and yes I will be ordering that Baroque Motif set when the new catty comes out - which is now only a week away - yah!!!!! I started by sponging my card with weathered wood distress ink and then sponging the edges only with faded jeans distress ink. Next I stamp the flourish stamp around the bottom and left side of the card. I used my cricut with the mini monograms cartridge to create my scallop pieces - the white at 1 1/4 inches real size off & then the blue at 1 1/2 inches real size off. I then stamped my medallion image onto the white scallop circle & sponged it with weathered wood ink. Layered the scallop pieces together & attach the blue brad through the middle and attached to card. "Hope Dream Imagine" was then stamped in the top right hand corner using black ink. And finally layered onto blue card.

I love that using the cricut I can cut my scallop circles any size I want and have as many layers that I want. Play around with real size on & off and also shadow and shadow blackout - doing this can give you slightly different sizes and even the shape of the scallop itself.

Recipe: Stamps: Flourish - Autumn Leaves; Medallion - Studio Astarte; Verse - Stamp It (Aust)
Paper: White; Royal Blue
Other: Weathered Wood & Faded Jeans Distress Ink; Blue Iris Fluid Chalk; Black Ink; Mini Monogram Cricut Cartridge; Blue Brad

ATC - Woof!

These ATC's were inspired by the card I created in my post yesterday for the featured stamper challenge. One of the items on my "to do" list for the month is for an ATC swap with the theme animals - well I figure dogs are animals - right! I thought the poodle would make a great atc so I found the stamp again (not hard this time round) and set to work.

The scallop square and white square inside it were again created using my mini monogram cricut cartridge. The oval shape is made using a small emaginations oval punch and I then used my scallop scissors to cut around the oval to create my black scallop frame. It may be hard to see on the photo as my watermark is on the ribbon (sorry), I colored my staples black using a black sharpie marker before stapling my ribbon to my ATC.

ATC - Butterfly Wishes

I needed to make an ATC as a return rak for someone who had sent me one a few weeks ago. So I thought I would play around with my Papertrey Butterfly set, seeing I hadn't played with that set already. I do love these sets, the only thing I wish is that they included a verse that goes with the theme of the set. Don't get me wrong I love all the other verses included in the set they are soooo useful - but sometimes I just like something like I put on this ATC the "Butterfly wishes" verse which is one I have in a set by Impression Obsession.

Recipe: Stamps: Butterfly Set - Papertrey Ink; Verse - Impression Obsession; Script Background - Stylish Images (Aust) Paper: White; Orange Other: Black Ink; Spiced Marmalade; Dried Marigold Distress Ink; Olive Pastel Fluid Chalk; Oval Punch - SU; Orange Brad

ATC Technique Swap

I am hosting an ATC Technique Swap on an ATC list I belong to, these are my atc's for this swap. I chose the rubber cement technique for my atc's. As this was a technique swap I didn't want to completely cover up the whole background so the participants couldn't see the background properly so I decided to attach the oval scallop piece by using a brad so that it can be moved to get a better look at the background.

Recipe: Stamps: Lady - Hero Arts; Verse - Pink Cat Studio
Paper: White Gloss Card; White Card
Other: Faded Jeans & Weathered Wood Distress Ink; Blue Iris Fluid Chalk; Scallop Punch; Blue Brad; Rubber Cement; Brayer.

Fly Little Lady ATC

Today I got the type of wake up call I never complain about, my Australia Post Parcel Delivery Lady calling out Australia Post! In the majority of times, this means there is a parcel of some sort for me (although there have also be a fair few for my DH in recent times), but today I wasn't disappointed as there was definitely a parcel there for me and also one for my DH so we were both happy.

I am sure by now you can tell what I received today - yes you got it, my Papertrey Ink stamps I ordered. These ATC's are for a swap I am in the theme is "Things with Wings", last night I had decided that I should get these ATC's made today and had something else in mind to do for them, but once these arrived this morning that idea flew out the window! Ladybugs have wings so of course I had to play with them instead! The word "fly" on the ATC is from the set I had planned to use by Impression Obsession, so it wasn't a complete waste getting that other set out last night.

ATC - Famous Faces

I thought it was about time I starting getting some things crossed off my "to do" list for the month. These atc's are for an atc swap I am in, the theme is Famous Faces. I ordered this stamp of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany earlier in the year and I figured it would be perfect for this swap. The image was a little long and only just fitted on the atc, I normally like to have a border showing all around but on these I just cut the top layer shorter width wise. I used the drunken chalks technique to create the background - I did this on a big piece of card first and then cut my card up into atc sized pieces. I have seen lots of people using that new spiral punch by Stampin' Up on there cards and I love the effect, I don't have that punch but I remember my punch for the rollabind gives the same effect but punches 3 holes at once so I used that - I only needed it punched at the top third of the atc because I didn't want the words punched out. I used my snap stamps so I could stamp Audrey's name, gotta love those snap stamps - best invention since sliced bread for sure!

Recipe:
Stamps: Audrey Poster - Rubber Romance; Audrey's name - Karen Foster snap stamps
Paper: White Gloss; Black
Other: Lime Pastel Fluid Chalk; Citrus Yellow Fluid Chalk; Olive Pastel Fluid Chalk; Gold Encore Ink; Rubbing Alcohol; Black Ink; Spray Sealer; Rollabind hole punch
