Miss You A Latte!

Hi everyone,

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club sketch over on the MFT Stamps Member Forum of SCS. This is another fun sketch!

For my card this week I used à la modes Miss You a Latte, this is a perfect set for the coffee lovers in our lives! I paper pieced the coffee mugs using designer paper. I have used a number of different Die-namics on this card which included:

• Die-namics File Tab
• Die-namics Chevron Stripes
• Die-namics Plentiful Petals

The button in the centre of the flower is from the Plum Pudding Pack from Buttons Galore & More.

Here is the inside of my card, I stamped the girl again and also added a sentiment from the set.

Fairy Tale Riley Release Day 4

Hi everyone,

It is day 4 of our Riley sneak peeks in readiness of the of the new Riley stamps
that will be available from Riley and Company this coming Thursday 26th June. This time round we have 16 Fairy Tale/ Nursery Rhyme themed Riley’s and 1 sentiment set being released. 

For my first card today I created a Shadow Box card using the new Snow White Sophie and Riley the Dwarf. Of course Snow White had 7 dwarfs which I couldn’t fit onto my card but I did manage to fit 3 on … you can see Bashful peeking out from the inside of the opening of the shadow box hehe. I think the other two are Dopey and Happy, but being a Riley Fairy Tale now we can have make up our own names if we wanted too.

For my second card I used Riley as Robin Hood to create a scrapling which basically is a smaller card created using the offcuts from when you make a square card when you cut it from a full piece of card.

Fairy Tales on Vacation!

OK so I kind of cheated on this challenge, but being in the middle of the Fairy Tale Riley Release I wanted to use those stamps for the challenge  today. I figure that when you go on Vacation you normally go to various different things including theme parks … so on one of these occasions they got to see The Three Moosekateers.

Here is the inside of my card. This time round I made this a birthday card using one of the birthday sentiments from the Moose Sayings 2 stamp set.

For my second card today I have used Red Riding Moose to create a tent topper card. Of course we all know that Red likes to visit her Grandma’s on her vacation .

For my first card I have used Little Bo Sophie to create a Squash card, it has been a while since I have made one of these type of cards.

Go Ahead–Let Your Hair Down!

Hi everyone!

Well it is that time again! Today starts the beginning of the sneak peeks of the new Riley stamps that will be available from Riley and Company this coming Thursday 26th June. This time round we have 16 Fairy Tale/ Nursery Rhyme themed Riley’s and 1 sentiment set being released. 

I have had such fun with these new Riley’s I just couldn’t stop creating until I had used just about all of them, so I have lots of cards/projects to share with you over the next few days. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I have been.

For my first card today I have used Rapunzel Sophie …. isn’t she adorable. Of course I needed someone to rescue her so I used one of the characters from another stamp being released …. The Three Moosekateers. I could have used King Riley which was released back in May,  but I thought this Moosekateer looked more like the rescuing type don’t you think!



Here is the inside of my card. I stamped Rapunzel Sophie again at the top of my card and added one of the sentiments from the new Life is a Fairy Tale word set. I am loving the sentiments included in this new word set, they work with the stamps being released this week but most would also work with many other stamps we own.

Friends Make Everyswing Better!

It’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Our hostess Kelli Hull is back with another fun challenge for us all.

Being the third Saturday of the month it is time for another sponsored challenge. This time round our sponsor is Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps. If you haven’t checked out there stamps, hop on over and check them out as there are lots of fun stamps on this site.

This week are playing along with the challenge which the Kraftin’ Kimme Stamps Design Team are using for their challenge which is Stitching....Real or Faux!

For my card I used a Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamp from the Springtime Lulu stamp set. Isn’t she just adorable!!!! and what a perfect sentiment to go with this image. I paper pieced the girls dress using designer paper.

I got so carried away creating my card that I almost forgot all about the stitching challenge, but I remembered in time and added stitching to the yellow panel down the bottom of my card using my sewing machine. I also stitched the two buttons onto this panel.

The layout of my card uses a recent sketch from I Spy Sketches (ISSC20).

Live Every Wonderful Moment

My card today is another card I used when I was playing around a few years back with a dress stamp. The skirt portion of the dress was used to substitute the flower that this bear is normally holding.

Hi everyone,

It’s challenge time again with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. This week our challenge hostess, Lois Bak continues with her July challenges.

Our challenge this week is to use two different border punches on your card.

Ok so before we get too far into my card, I have a confession .. I cheated a little, I used one border bunch the EK Success Palm Border Punch (on the red card) and I used the MFT Stamps Die-namics Catch the Waves die as my other border. To me punches/die are basically the same thing just one takes up a lot less space and you can use with lots of other things other than just card.

Now onto my card…. I used La La Land Crafts Hula Marci, this was another recent purchase … isn’t she a cutie! I also used the new Palm Tree die also from La Land Land. For the sentiment I used the Die-namics Sea Charm.

Here is the inside of my card, I add the border using the EK Success Border punch. I have left my card blank so that I can add something when I know who and why I am giving this card to someone.
