Holly Santa

This card is for today's sketch challenge ... I decided to go with yet another Christmas card .... this is a great way to build up your Christmas card stash .... esp seeing it is less then a month before I will have to post them all out. I was actually planning on using one of my new snowmen stamps if the sketch suited it (which this one would have) .... but as Roxie's sample for this sample used a snowman I decided to go with something different instead.

For this card I used my spots and dots cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss the red background layer. The holly DP paper was a leftover from the Santa sack I made earlier in the week ... great to use up leftover pieces of DP! The holly embellishments on the squares and that Santa is holding are actually buttons from Dress It Up ... they have some fantastic button embellishments!

Recipe:
Stamps: Believe - Papertrey Ink
Paper: Real Red & Garden Green - Stampin' Up; White; Holly DP - Basic Grey
Other: Black Ink; Spots & Dots Cuttlebug Embossing Folder; Holly Buttons; Foam Tape
