To You From Me!

CCEE1101-To-You-wm

Hi everyone,

It’s Thursday which means it is challenge time again over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. It is great to back into challenges are the short break we had in December …. I missed doing the challenges.

This month it is my turn to host the challenge and this week I challenged everyone to Check it Out! You need to use checks somehow on your card. It can be a stamp that has checks in the design, check designer paper; embossing folder, ribbon etc.

For my card I decided to use a new stamp I purchased while out with a few friends just before Christmas. I had seen this stamp at a show earlier in the year and when I went back to buy it, it was gone so I was happy to see it in the store. Isn’t that little boy adorable!!!!!!!!

Of course my checks are in the blue designer paper on the base of my card.

Here is the inside of my card. I haven’t added a sentiment to the inside yet, because I haven’t decided what I will use this card for … possibly a Mother’s Day card to my daughter from her son, we will see.

Don’t forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

Be Prepared!

PP-Boy-Scout-wm

Hi all,

I have another Paper Pretties sneak peek to share with you all today. These stamps will be released by Paper Pretties this coming Friday 10th December.

This time round the Paper Pretties Design Team are all featuring the new “Scout Cooper” stamp set.

I decided to create a note book using The Cinch binding tool. I added the Fleur de lis border along the right side of the book as the fleur de lis is a special symbol in Scouting.

    MFTeasers – Day 1

    MFT-Rainfall-wm

    Hi everyone,

It’s that time again when then MFT Stamps designs team begins showing our MFTeasers in preparation of the new stamps which will be released by MFT Stamps this coming Wednesday 5th May.

Being Saturday it is also time for another challenge over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. It’s also a brand new month and this month Cindy Haffner & I are sharing the challenges. Today Cindy has given us a fun sketch challenge to play with, I just love Cindy’s sketches!!!!!

For my first card I used the new MFT Stamps “Rainfall Flopsey”, doesn’t he look cute with his gumboots and umbrella. I used Cindy’s C4C sketch for the layout of my card. Recently on a shopping trip I found this fun designer paper which of course I had to use with this card.

Here is the inside of my card. For both the oval panels on the front & inside of my card I stamped the cloud stamp that comes in the set while the nestabilities dies was still in place. I then created masks for all my clouds and used my copic airbrush to create my sky, first using a blue copic and then going back over slightly with a grey copic.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

    Hello!

    C4C-Hello-wm

    Hello everyone!

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. My card today is for this week’s challenge over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. This week the challenge is “Punch Happy”, get those punches out …. borders, shapes or decorative …. let’s have some punch fun when creating our cards this week!

Our sponsor for this month is Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and the C4C design team were lucky enough to be able to use one of their new images for our cards this week. I decided to use their new “Small Talk” stamp.

MTSC49 I also made use of Mercy’s Tuesday sketch challenge for my card this week, it really suited both my image and punching so it was hard to resist using it.

For the punch requirement of the C4C challenge I used the Fiskars Fleur de lis Border punch along the left edge of my card and also a star punch for my sentiment.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

    Little Princess!

    PP-Little-Princess-wm
    Hi everyone!
It is time for another Pretties Wednesday Challenge & Blog Hop. If you didn't hop onto my blog via Christi Thorsen's blog then you might want to hop back over to the very start of the blog hop which is at Christie Ortman's blog.
This week our challenge was issued by Jackie Rakoski who challenged us to Alter Something. I decided to alter a note book for this challenge. I also wanted to play with the new Paper Pretties Lady Sophia set. I thought Fleur De Lis went well with Royalty so I used the Fiskars Fleur De Lis border punch to decorate the top and bottom of the pink strip across my book and also used the fleur de lis cuttlebug embossing folder for the dark pink panel.
    ***************************************
Want to play along with us
All you need to do is Alter Something …. anything.
How to Enter: Alter something using any Paper Pretties stamp set(s) you have. Upload the project/card to the Paper Pretties gallery. Please include it in the Weekly Challenges category and use keyword PWC71.
Deadline: 6pm EST Tuesday, October 6th.
