Meet Sarah Jane

It has been a long time since I have played with my Sarah Jane stamp shown above, I just love these stamps as you can put them with all sorts of fun things. Today's "Learn a new Technique" challenge was 'The Unexpected....', the idea was to find that unexpected embellishment. I still had a few of these fun puzzle games from a few years back, so I decided to make a card similar to one I made a few years back using Sarah Jane & the puzzle.

The colors on the puzzle itself are pretty bright so I decided to keep the colors close to that of the puzzle. I stamped out Sarah Jane and attached her to the puzzle. The background is similar to one I did a few weeks back on another card, I just changed the colors to suit this one - I liked how the word "fun" was on the background and I thought that suited this theme and trying to solve this puzzle can be fun (I guess it can also be frustrating if you can't work it out, but we'll stick with fun LOL!)

I remembered I got a box of ribbons a month or two ago with unusual colors, there were a few in there that would have suited this card - which did surprise me, obviously I was meant to make it wasn't I! I also added a paper pierced corner to each of the corners of the base card - this might be a little hard to see on every part of the photo (esp where my watermark is)

Recipe:
Stamps: Sarah Jane - Print Works; Sweet Spot - Stampin' Up
Paper: Pink Passion - SU; Lime; White
Other: Black Ink; Rouge & Lime Pastel Fluid Chalk; Paper Piercing Tool & Guide; Ticket Corner Punch - SU; Puzzle
