It’s Riley Challenge Time!

Riley Stilts wm

Hi everyone!

It’s challenge time again over on the Riley and Company blog. This week our challenge hostess is Cindy Haffner who has challenged us to create a Party theme card/project for a child's Birthday.

I thought a circus theme would be fun for a child’s birthday so I used one of the new circus theme stamps Stilts Riley to create my card.

I decided to make another Centre Step card, I so love making these cards and they are so easy to create!

    You’re One!

    Williams Bday wm

    Hi everyone,

Well it is hard to believe by my grandson, William is now a whole one year old … wow where has the time gone. It has been the most wonderful year ever! He was actually one last week (Friday) but as I already had a card to post on that day I decided to leave my card until today to post.

I spent ages trying to figure out what to use on his card, I wanted something to show he was one! Finally I discovered that the Sesame Street Font Cricut Cartridge had Elmo holding the number one, so I had to go buy the cartridge so I could create my card. Who doesn’t love Elmo right!

    Williams Bday2 wm

For the inside of my card I used a sentiment I found online somewhere and had saved on my computer. I am not sure where I found it so I can’t give credit, if it is you please let me know and I will give you credit for the sentiment.

Paper: White; Black; Red; Orange; Yellow; DP – Bo Bunny

    “Mane” Attraction!

    Riley LionTamer wm

    Hi everyone!

It’s Saturday which means it’s challenge time with the “Crazies” over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Joanne Grzelak finishes off her month as challenge hostess with another fun challenge.

Now that the weather is sunny and clear (hopefully), we often start planning vacations. Create a card showing a favorite vacation spot or activity.

Of course it is always the opposite for me Down Under!!! Winter will be officially here in a few days!

I don’t have too many vacations, but I did think going to see a circus would be a fun activity to do while on vacation. My card uses one of the new circus Riley stamps that were released by Riley and Company yesterday.

In case you haven't heard the Riley & Company site had a "moosehap" this morning, but it's all fixed now! You can order your Riley Goes To The Circus stamps HERE.

And as a thank you for your patience while we were having technical difficulties -
we will ship your order FREEEEE! Simply put "SHIPFREE" in the comments section when you check out. This offer is only good until Sunday, so hurry! (domestic orders only - sorry)

Don't forget to check out the rest of the “Crazies” cards over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and also their individual blogs for more details.

    Howdy!

    CCEE1121 Western wm

    Hi everyone!

It’s challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Apparently today is John Wayne’s birthday, he would be 103 today! So in honor of his birthday our challenge hostess Shirley Quarry has challenged us to create a Western birthday card.

For my card I used MFT Stamps Fred Bear - Out West stamp set. I stamped Fred Bear onto my card and then masked him so I could stamp my cacti on either side of him. I then used my copic airbrush to add the color to the sky and ground. I used two MFT Die-namics on the front of my card, firstly the Die-namics Stacking Stars die and also the speech bubble from the Die-namics Say What Die & Stamp Set.
