MFT-PICalendarOct-wm

I know some of you who follow my blog and my calendar I have been doing each month with the PI Flower of the Month sets will have been wondering where my October calendar is … well have no fear it is here! I decided to save it for today’s Die-namic feature. I have used the Die-namics Well Worn Greetings Die for the date portion of my calendar plus three of the new MFT Die-namics.

MFT-PICalendarOct3-wm

I have layered the PI girl using Die-namics Oval Decorative Doily … for this particular piece I added an oval nestabilities onto the doily so I could have layers.

For the flower I used the Die-namics Rolled Gardenia using striped paper. I just love how easy it is to use those rolled flowers! I also used the latest flourish die … this one is the Die-namics Vintage Flourish.

MFT-InspiredAutumn-wm

For my second project today I used the Inspired by Autumn stamp set and created this card. Autumn can be so pretty with the changes of the colors of the leaves etc. That is one thing I miss about living somewhere warmer we don’t get a true Autumn/Fall so don’t see that dramatic change in colors, I experienced it once in Melbourne a number of years back and it was so beautiful!

I tried to recreate those colors on my leaves, so I inked them using various autumn colors of distress inks and then stamped that on my doily and then over stamped the sentiment on top of the leaves.

As you can see I have used the Die-namics Oval Decorative Doily again on my card. But this time round I just cut the doily in white card and stamped directly onto it … two very different looks one layered, one not. I also love that this doily already has a border die and three round doily dies that can be used in conjunction with this one if you wanted to. For my card I used the Die-namics Faux Crochet Border which is the border die that matches this doily.

Here is the inside of my card. As you can see I stamped another of the sentiments from the Inspired by Autumn stamp set and also used the Die-namics Faux Crochet Border along the bottom edge of the designer paper panel.

Here are all the Die-namics that I used on my two projects today:
