Hi Crafty Friends,
It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Joanne Grzelak our challenge hostess for the month, continues to issue the challenges.
Around here spring came late, so we are still enjoying the blooming of flowers. Please create a card with multiple flowers.
For my card today I decided to play with a background stamp I got recently from Simon Says Stamp, this is called Flower Explosion.
I stamped the image onto white cardstock and then embossed using white embossing powder. I then used three colors of Distress Oxide inks sponging the colors onto specific areas of the image.
I used one of the dies from MFT Stamps Stitched Scallop Basic Edges die set to the bottom edge of the card and then added a sentiment.
For the inside of the card I used Karen Burniston's Upsy Daisy Pop-up die set using the diamond slide technique that Karen shared on her how to video for making this card.
I used the same background stamp I used on the front to add to the top and bottom edge of the card.
Here is an overhead view of my card.
One last photo of my card this time taken at an angle.
Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. You can also see more details of their creations on their individual blogs:

This blanket of blossoms is gorgeous embossed in white and rubbed with oxides!! And then inside is the surprise of your sensational pop-ups!! Such a remarkable card!!
Love that Upsy Daisy die and your embossed flowers really show up nicely in all that pretty sponging!

Beautiful flowers! Love the colors!
What a great card and perfect stamp to use for this resist technique. The colors are so amazing and I love the wonderful pop up design of this card.
