Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I have a couple of 4th of July favor boxes I created.
These fun boxes were made using products from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The Gable Box die is one of Suzanne Cannon/A Way With Words die sets that were released earlier this week. The 4th of July die set designed by Joset Designs was released a month ago.
With the 4th of July just under a month away now, I thought these would be fun to make as favor boxes or to use as place cards, by adding a name to each box and having something fun inside.
To keep with the red, white and blue theme of the 4th of July ... I die cut one of the gable boxes in blue. It is hard to tell in the photos, but I added a decoration to both opposite sides of the box.
Both boxes are decorated with a silver glittered starburst, using the largest starburst included in the 4th of July die set which I die cut from cardstock that had Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape on the front and then covering with Silver Silk Microfine Glitter.
For the blue box I then added the hat which I die cut and decorated using red, white and blue cardstock.
The second box I die cut from red cardstock, and again added the silver starburst.
I then added two fire crackers using red, white and blue cardstock.
Of course I don't actually celebrate the 4th of July, seeing I live in Australia. However I thought it might be fun to fill these with a treat for my two grandchildren. That way they can learn a little bit about the USA and 4th of July.
