Santa's Workshop

 

Today I am sharing a fun Christmas themed Shaker card I created recently using stamps & dies from Hero Arts.

For this card I pulled out Hero Arts' October 2021 My Monthly Hero kit and one of the add on stamp sets ... Hero Greetings Christmas Gift Shop stamp set.

I die cut the main window card front using red ink, I inked around the edges of the card using Catherine Pooler Cranberry Fizz ink pad. I die cut the banner portion of this panel two more times, using gold and white cardstock. I gold embossed the "Santa's Workshop" sentiment from the Hero Greetings Christmas Gift Shop stamp set.

I applied Broken China & Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide inks to the front of a top folding A2 Card base. I then splattered white paint over the panel. I also gold embossed the star to the top right window area.

I added a panel of acetate to the back of the red panel and then applied foam tape all around the edges of the card. I added chunky glitter and clear stars to the centre of the panel and then adhered the card base over the red panel to create my shaker card.

I stamped the Christmas Tree, Rocking Horse, table, presents and elves and adhered them to the front of my card.

For the inside of the card I stamped two sentiments and the table and presents to the inside panel. All stamps are included in the card kit.
